Agreeable Menswear Post Of The Day

I am 29 years old. If I tried to dress like that I would get my ass kicked.

Especially as a brown dude.

The Brit equivalent would be dressing like a country squire and walking into a bar in Glasgow, Newcastle or Liverpool on a Saturday night:

That above would do the trick quietly nicely.

Hopefully you don't dress like these dudes:

I like the fit of both. Though the pants are a bit wide, they work and are much better than leggings. And he’s got an excellent chinafriend beard (attached another photo just as evidence of the excellent beard)

Peter Christian usually have models that are slightly younger than the target demographic. You could dress like the bloke in the picture if you went to places where people dressed like that. Fulham,
Barnes etc. I don’t think there would be a colour bar.

I am not sure about the two in the similar outfits. They might have slightly over-egged it. Lose the caps or wear trousers that are not so loud.

You have to be careful bringing neon flourescence and saturated colours into your image. You could get away with it in the early to mid 80's, but now it looks like you've just stepped off the catwalk for Ralph Lauren and Lacoste extreme youth product lines.

The outfits in question are Cordings.

dislike business on top, party on the bottom outfits. rarely like denim + sport coat. those pin rolls on the denim? ewww.

More like bovver boy skin head on the bottom. A dreadful look.

The only thing that works with denim is nubuck leather coats.

Found this on SF and rather liked it (but sub a TV fold PS):

Maybe without the tie it would be ‘okay’. As it is very SF and that’s a bad thing...

I think the only rule at this point is that you shouldn't be wearing a tie with denim. This is even worse with tie + ps.
At the minimum:: No tie with jeans. Ever.
(I hope there is no need to mention never ever wear a vest/waistcoat and jeans)
Then no business shirt with jeans.
I prefer no shoes with jeans, only boots or chukkas.
Generally no sports coats with jeans. Except maybe a cord jacket.
Jeans means field jacket, M65, parka, blouson, Harrington, trucker jacket, chore coat, leather jacket, pea coat, barn jacket, etc etc.

There are some exceptions if you are in a 70s cock rock band you may wear an orphan pinstripe suit jacket over ripped jeans and cowboy boots.

is this orazio or chiaia? or both?

Orazio & Chiaia are collaborating profanator tackys that took advantage of a young man looking to move up to bespoke from wearing Corneliani and top eyetie RTW. They destroyed his dream of wearing a black pinstriped bespoke giacca and jeans with the Jag's top down, coke-induced heart beating as loudly as the Frankie Knuckles bass thundering out of the speakers.

Minus the the bracelet, I like it quite bit. The bearded gent apparently is a frequenter of Mr. Ambrosi. Foo's buddy perhaps
