I’m absolutely baffled as to why there’s so little traffic here. I mean posts like the one you refer to prove it’s obviously such a welcoming and tolerant place.

verrihappy obviously hates on Mitch and Pete, but they are far more agreeable than his quasi-homoerotic-jealousy would care to admit.

Let’s start with Sparky Pete, who straddles multiple worlds well enough. Is he perfect? Hardly. But he’s better than I, and if he sometimes verges into worlds I dare not tread (living in northern Ireland precludes western wear), he stops himself before getting too colourful.

Sadly verrihappy has not blessed us with any fitpic whatsoever so we can see how his Herculean physique and Adonis good looks are so far above us mere mortals that he is terribly keen on posting AI Neanderthals besides Sparky Pete, but surprisingly the fella actually models for a few companies, such as a small company called Ralph Lauren.

Second up is Mitchell Moss. I understand why everyone hates him: he is an unapologetic shill, then unapologetically sells his clothes that he got for free, and has an extremely punchable face. But hear me out.

When Mitchell stays in his lane, he dresses well. Unlike Sparky Pete, who has a pretty good understanding of different styles and wears them in a way that looks cohesive and natural, our boy Mitch does not have that gift. When he tries to shoehorn something “fun” into his typical outfit, it feels terribly off, like putting hot sauce on strawberry trifle. I’ll not show examples; he does this more often than not.

BUT! He does boring menswear really well. He is the Yankee version of Simon; he has learnt the “rules” of classic menswear and should stay there. When he stays boring, he is perfectly acceptable (even if his personality is a bit grating). Here are a few screenshots from his IG:

I assumed the reason the usual suspects show up in the disagreeable thread is because they look decidedly 'igent'. It's pretty clear their clothing habits are reinforced by the 'igent' crowd from the other forum or pitti or where ever else you find that subgroup. Hence the constant appearance of classics in slightly quirky variations that even give the impression of dressing for the 'igent' crowd instead of well, dressing well in general.
