A few years ago it was wonderful, a potential dawning of new sartorially age! (cough ahem!) where men would/could dress classically (that word again!) (cough...cough) but then the fashionistas cottoned on, and as we say in the Northwest of England - 'fucked it reet oop' (trans: fucked it right-up).

Why-the-fuck, doesn't this fucking sartorial fucking clusterfuck, fuck back off to their fucking Armani, fucking Prada and the fucking like?

FUCK

REET

OFF

Why is him wearing two ties at once?

In the douchebag series. His Instagram account is filled with gems and it is really worth reading the hashtags that he uses.

I always laugh out loud when these dudes refer to Grant, Astaire, Kelly etc. as their style icons, yet they seem to have learned nothing from them.
It's even funnier when the dude in question has a huge noggin and doesn't know how to make it look more proportioned - blimey, just like his style icon did!
no mames wey Astaire + Kelly are no style icons, that's 100% igent bullshit. Unless you like the look and feel of a faggedy twinkletoe, do not aspire to dress like them.

I'd never try to dress like them (too dandy) but the cut of their clothes was a sight to behold

For sure a very difficult look to achieve at the roermond outlet. Dancers = fags; straight boys cruise at the outlet village.

Irrespective of whether that is true or not, it is beside the point. Desirability is different from difficulty. However, obviously Freddy Fag nicely fits the vintard theme popular among igents here and there. And from what I've seen, you're almost there. Maybe loose a few more pounds and definitely up your hat game. Maybe the undertake dude that frequently comes up in this thread can help you out.

I was waiting for someone to pick up on him citing Cary Grant yet wearing sausage casing suits.

Maybe I could have used different examples - Steve McQueen, Gary Cooper, Clark Gable, Sean Connery... are those manly enough for you?

My point is the same: those iGents refer to olde Hollywood stars as style icons, yet they fail to even understand why they looked great in their clothes. Some of them wear MTM or bespoke and it should be simple enough for them not to look like crap.

I could hear Careless Whisper when I saw that photo. The hand on the thigh on top of the pensive pose is very erotic.

That they were all in good shape, generally handsome, charismatic, famous, and that our appreciation of what they wear is in part influenced by the halo effect and in part influenced by socialization that these men are fashion icons are all things that make them well dressed to us that to greater or lesser extent a typical iGent will lack (at least some).

Bah, I bet he’s just a tease, pretending to be DTF but actually a prude.

Right, on how on Earth can he afford all these watches - this is not his whole collection, and get Luciano and co suits?
He is in his early 30s, and as far as I know he had his menswear magasine and that is it?
He is not the only one though, Paul Lube seems to be swimming in money.

The only one out of the lot who's not swimming in money is Roetzel. He's doing well, but not rolling in it, and it shows in his style. I respect him for it. The others are just vulgar swine.
