What’s the problem? It has absolutely nothing to do with his thrifter alter ego and seems completely focused on his professional life. For someone involved in the corporate communications business it seems like quite an appropriate form of publicity. At least he is not a professional clothes blogger. I am not defending the condom fit though. That’s inexcusable

I love those stories about Ayoubi and others...this is why I have signed for this forum. I can’t believe I was a regular reader (stupid sheep) of Crapomet’s blog. All by magic his article about Mararo is gone as well as the pictures with him and his wife. There are still in the google cache but when you want to see the actual image it is not pointing anywhere. It was the same with passagio cravatte. I hope for him that he did not actually put on paper anything about this crook on his Italian gentleman book. Thank you again DressedWell for putting the gentlemen on the right path!

I discovered several taylors thanks to him. For instance the first time I read about master Oreo was on his Tumblr (a good starting point to begin to learn). He is more a compulsive thrifter than a true bespoker (he has maybe a dozen true bespoke pieces in his wardrobe). Besides he isn't reluctant to talk about prices which is refreshing. He never plays the MBT trick which I highly hate. Finally he has a deep and useful experience of alterations. I'm not talking of his tasteless outfits (it was already bad before his divorce but it has gone worse since, he is litterally exploding the body mass index) and sartorial advices which are useless.

I quite agree with some points. But those last months, he’s more the « look at those brand I have » if you watch his IG.
I also discovered some starting and worth the look tailors, like Biagio Granata, but what’s the ratio of that fact to all his posts? Is he still a good asset?

i just find it strange that non-notable people would write a wikipedia piece on themselves especially when a web search of him returns very few notable articles that would necessitate an e-encyclopedia reference

It's not just strange but idiotic, and smacks of self-importance. Dearnell is a complete nobody, despite the whole "bilingual and bicultural" expert spiel (it takes a Frenchman to include bicultural in the list of Linkedin bullshit boxes). At the end of the day, he makes his living as an interpreter. On the sartorial front, he only managed to get into the Molto Top Club of Experti because he's bezzers with Hugo Jacomet. The French sartorial scene makes Freemasonry look like the Women's Institute.

That being said, Dearnell makes more money than me. So I don't feel at all guilty if I slag him.
