Disagreeable Menswear Post Of The Day

I would happily wear this suit, even though I dislike the lapels a bit. Pants aren’t too snug and look comfortable. But the tie and shirt? O_o

The colours are all wrong. Including the suit. Caramel is just a no-no for suitings. I suppose the trousers would work as separates, but that's about it.

There has to be some rules, less we sink into cultural relativism and post-modernist BS. You can't say this is shit and then say, oh no, everything is all equally as good or bad based on subjective opinions. It's somewhat hypocritical. You said it's a no-go and I expected you to back it up and then you backed down. I expected a riposte of some sort or another.

Another bloody Continental, are you? Or are you American? In English, when we say "such and such is", we don't have to prefix it with "in my opinion". Also, I said no-no, not no-go. So, let me rephrase, for you literal-minded jocks:

In my opinion, which is personal, subjective, and the fruit of my own personal subjective experience, caramel is not something that I, personally, would wear.

I was put in mind of Old Town clothing too. Normal for Norfolk?

It is a continuation of the ‘When the Boat Comes In’ look. Edwardian and Victorian workwear for people who have never done a stroke in their lives.
