Not a big fan of the patch madras cap, but the rest of it looks pretty trad/ivy.
Coincidentally, I was leafing through my copy of "Take Ivy" last night, and I'm pretty sure that some of the photos showed Princeton students dressed in a very similar manner to AAS.

Never understood a lot of the trad/ivy stuff and I guess this just leads to my confusion.
Most likely my interpretation of casual, which the trousers and the loafers do not resonate with. I know loafers are inherently casual but together they don't convey casual to me.
To me it conveys a "I'm usually dressed for work in a suit or odd jacket and tie so if I take off the tie and throw on the sweater it is casual"
It reminds me of "politician casual" which is anything but.
I will retire to the sidelines on this one.

Considering selling the tie. Neither my wife nor I particularly like it. I wanted to see what context I could possibly wear it with. I feel (and I'm alone in this), that it will only look decent with a suit. Which I rarely wear. So it may be heading for eBay. It is my last bright tie. I just don't like bright ties much.
