It's in its final stage. Will be over soon, maybe a year or so as the early adopters are starting to wear wider and bigger again. It'll take a while before it completely dies though.

I have the twin of the blue with brown windowpane. I regret that purchase for two reasons. They barely had enough fabric left for a jacket (and thus it was on sale so they could get rid of it) and I'm assuming that accounts for the shitty job pattern matching...but given that they did it here, I'm at a loss...my other windowpane from them is excellently matched). And while the cloth itself is beautiful, it is way too loud for my tastes. And most reasonable tastes.

It is very rarely worn.

I assume that's a suit - the colour's a bit difficult to make out from the photos as they were obviously taken in different lighting conditions.

Apart from the sleeves, I think that it's a good look - the shirt and tie go with the suit and I don't mind pleated trousers, either. I probably would have chosen a plain, white linen pocket square, but other than that and the sleeve issue, I think that it's a nice look.

Shawl lapels. More commonly seen on lapels on vests for dinner suits (or tuxedos, as you Americans say), but still acceptable for vests for lounge suits.

Although I love them on DB waistcoats and low evening waistcoats, they look odd on a standard SB waistcoat. Also, I'm really not keen on a flat bottom on an SB waistcoat - keep the flat bottom for DB.
