Disagreeable Menswear Post Of The Day

Holy shit - no way I'm paying more than $100 or so for bloody sneakers.
Pleb mentality

OK Pauly you've convinced me not to be stingy with sneakers. Designer. And they are white!

The reason we get disagreeable menswear posts is very simple. All of the people posing in these photos are genetically working class. Their bodies were never designed to wear upper class suits. So they look ridiculous when they wear one. I have the same problem, so my heart goes out to them.

What is so terrible about Betel's outfit? Isn't it how he always posed: fists clenched, bum out as if he is about to partake in pegging? or is it the verbal flatulence from his SF admirers?

I mean i wouldn't wear all those items together but 'disagreeable?'

It is the writing rather than the photo.

The problem of this outfit is that it doesn't get more "menswear forum" than this, almost screaming modern menswear enthusiast. It's boring and bland without fitting particularly well. The fact that you think this looks good comes from the simple fact that it combines everything the average forum user seems to deeply covet such as grey trousers, a non-security guard sprotcoat, a knit tie, chukka boots and 5cm cuffs (2" for the Yanks). Another point is that it's totally motionless like all the other carbon copies of this outfit all over insta, tumblr and the fora. If he starts to move, things will get messy.

You need a very deformed body to really look great
So that is the root of everything- a deformed body cannot be working class
A poor deformed body cannot wear suits
Only real top shit crusted gentlemen

Are you suggesting iGents start posting gifs of themselves in motion!!

I see that on Instagram sometimes and do not like. Boomerang add on to the app

Now, you are just being pernickety and i don't think DWW is the forum for that nor is this thread.

I never stated it 'looked good'; i stated it wasn't terrible. As for 'coveting' - only in the workings of the internet mind, does one 'covet' grey trousers!!

Oh, please no motion performance pictures of the sartorial kind, that is just odd!

I should have thought the opposite was true. The ruling class have perfect or near-perfect physiques and good proportions. We in the working class don't. For a start, we tend to be short and squat. And dark.

Take someone like Crompon: a privileged lad. You may scoff at his hips, but he is tall or at least not short, so he can get away with a lot more than shorter blokes, tailoring-wise. Now take someone like Gianni Campagna. Bad genes. So even with all his tailoring skill, he still looks like a bag of shoite, poor fellow.
