Disagreeable Menswear Post Of The Day

For all that, he is Ubermensch. See them glittering at their Style Guide dinner. In the end, they're vastly superior to so many of their readers.

You need a very deformed body to really look great
So that is the root of everything- a deformed body cannot be working class
A poor deformed body cannot wear suits
Only real top shit crusted gentlemen
Very correct as usual. Generations of careful family inbreeding has guantanteed top shit crusting.

I'm not mad on that suit but if one was going to wear it - it is a suit that cries out for an informal/casual approach. It could work with no tie, a floppy collar, linen shirt and not buttoned up and looking as if it was worn a bit with a insouciant loucheness.

Do you mean Raffaele Iorio And this is not to be confused with his namesake who is not as good as him. He tailoring in Via Nardones 106 in Naples?

This is not the answer our friend ConchitaWurst ConchitaWurst is waiting. Please answer him. He has experienced the best of the best of italian tailoring and now wants to spend his money on low-cost tailors. We're waiting a full report.

I'm not posting pictures of the work of the old humble artisan who doesn't accept tackys, without the permission of LKP, who seems not to post anymore but I'll comment on what I got.

I ordered a DB jacket back in July. First bespoke commission from that great man who is Iorio. Hardy Minnis navy Mock Lino Letuce. Two patch pockets and welt breast pocket. Manica camicia, quarter lined, grey smoked MOP, 3 buttons on the sleeve.

I had the first fitting one day latter I gave him the cloth I brought with me. The man was doing everything himself as his coleague who I guess does all the sewing was with flu. Iorio asked if the length was ok and if I wanted narrower shoulders. I say ok to everything.

Five days later I had the second fitting.

In the beginning of September (one week earlier than promised) I received a perfectly fitted jacket (during August the man is on holidays). Manica camicia was there but the jacket was fully lined with one corozo button in the sleeve. I guess Iorio did what he does when a client orders a sport jacket and I prefer it like that. MOP buttons would be too dandy for me in retrospective and I don't mind the lining as it is very thin.

Verry happy

If he didn't do what you asked him it means he's a true neapolitan tailor.

Black canvas, of course. That Mock Lino is very nice. The weave of the cloth is quite "intricate" though. Kind of elaborated hopsack.

What is fok forum. If it's SF, no, I won't publish pictures there.

Rubinacci is for efiminates and tackys who also happen to have money and like heavy and overarmoured jackets like Brioni which two spaniard say that it is neapoletan and deconstructed, while is roman style, the most armoured ever.

Rubinacci as much as you may want it, falls into the mid-range, but high quality. A canny buy. And I know diplomats who sport Rubinacci before other ranges. It says you cannot be bought.

So away with your pretence and BS.

Who would buy Rubinacci in Naples when you can have the same at half the price? I don't need Mariano's styling advice because I know how to dress myself so I don't see any added value there. Furthermore, I prefer to interact with the cutter directly.

Of course you need it armoured in Rome on account of all the back-stabbing assassins down there.

It reminds me we've never see any of your outfit ConchitaWurst ConchitaWurst here on DW, excepted the odd photos of your trip in neapolitan mystery backrooms.

Good timing my friend. LKP/Togliatti/Djerzinski, for your next comeback on DW could you chose the pseudo Malaparte? He started fascist and ended communist. It'll help those who aren't experts of the forum history to quickly recognize you.

P-S: Stop posting gay porn in your PM. I suppose it's a very popular habit amongst the parvenus car sellers community in Moscow but it's frankly insane and ugly. Our Brexiter friend has been unfairly banned from DW because of your shit and his kids traumatized.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure he meant to send those to me, along with some of the aforementioned steamy Neapolitan backroom photos.

Personally I make a habit of reading DW only with the grandchildren around with the computer hooked up to the big screen.
