Disagreeable Menswear Post Of The Day

Just a tad darker flannel would have worked as that is not a particularly dark shade of navy
ymmv

Peak lapels go on anything suiting wise.

They do look, tasty with chalkstripes, especially Flannel chakies I have to say. I also like them on linen, where they add a bit of Edwardian foppishness / decadence.

Straight from the Zegna website, for one of their Trofeo-fabric suits. Oh my god.

Very true with stripes fabrics - flannel or worsted as demonstrated by Marzotto - but too catchy with plain ones.

Yes, flannel chalkstripe & peaks for the win.

As my Dad would say:: "Sonny - are those short longs or long shorts"?

Ask Paully about this fucking ridiculous shit, he was sporting some even shorter than these on the WAYW thread the other day.
How can anyone be taken seriously anywhere, much less on a forum entitled ‘dressed well’, when you’re walking round wearing this ridiculous shit?

High contrast navy blue-lightlight grey = normanwanksalone shopper look
No ymmv

light gray for pants (especially in high contrast situations) very over rated. very SF advice. Mid grey obviously the best, but I probably even get more use from charcoal flannels than i do from the very very light gray.

the video of them on insta is unbelievable. fat ones touching cloth, greedy ones clutching rolls, broken english from italian crooks. too bad no way to put it up here.

Yet another proof that they are pretending to be gentlemen but are just apes with no manners

I used to wear them a lot in guess what, my SF days.
Now I have ordered a pair because I have some not so dark sport coats that would look good with them, but wouldn't wear them with the navy blazers.

My favourite trouser colour is charcoal. I think in some years I'll end up like my father, wearing only charcoal trousers, black shoes and sedate sportcoats.

Send us a link, my boy. I want to look Evil in the face, what?

Update: I have. Is that a Chinese woman's voice saying "Thanks to Merino?"

Good Lord. You spend your adult life trying to fight stereotypes, then you get this.
