I like UrbanComposition (Zlotto or something?). Yes he overdressed for the worksite (much like Carl Mukawski), but at least it’s not just a pose for Instagram. He is genuinely enthusiastic about menswear and workwear and has the good sense not to try to blend the two (pet hate of mine). His outfits are often less than perfect but he isn’t a shill

I'm sorry but what? I don't even have instagram but how is this man whose entire life is centered around taking photos of himself and "modeling" not just a "pose for instagram?"

I mean, sure he’s a weirdo posing for Instagram, but he’s also wearing this stuff during the day. At least he is consistent

Thankfully he’s not one of those aficionado-turned-company types, and his captions aren’t trying to sell his closet or link to a discount code. Apparently he models for Inis Meain and does what Instagram calls Paid Partnerships with Seiko, Myrkvist, and others. Personally, as long as people are similarly upfront about it, I view it the same as Charlize Theron posing for Dior (albeit far less attractive).

Not everything is my cup of tea, but his pairings of coat and tie are always in good taste, and AFAIK he does all his own photography, which is noteworthy.
 
I’m also aware that a set a lower bar than some people here. ANYONE into clothes and style and all this is going to ambe at least a little weird. But guys like Zlotto and Murhawskii and even DWW strike me as self aware and good humored in their silly obsessions

You are a stain on this forum, and I will tell you why.

None of your posts have anything to do with fits being disagreeable. At best, they are about styles you don't like (monochrome), and at worst, they are racist, homophobic, and suffocatingly juvenile.

You have more self-loathing than the whole of Christendom and have no sense of style and no knowledge of tailoring. You are a small town food critic who has never so much as microwaved popcorn, and your fanatical jealousy drives you to daily post petrol-station toilet stall jokes that are pathetic and tiresome.

But you can save yourself: leave your sociopath persona behind and instead relate why you find a particular fit disagreeable. Do you prefer drape over a clean chest? Does Ivy style tickle your fancy? Is the suit too tight? Too big? These are the things that make a fit disagreeable, and foster lively debate on this forum.

For the love of God, get some help. When you have learnt to focus more on clothes and less on people and your comparative esteem next to them, you may return.
 
I asked him several pages ago to articulate WHY he finds these fits disagreeable. All five members of DW could be viewing those pics and see five different reasons why we dislike them. If he at least hints at his key objections it might stimulate some much needed debate from which we might even learn something. He didn’t bother and as you see has just continued with his bigotry which tells us more about him than it does about the people he’s trying to pillory. Opportunity lost.
