Mate, you’re going to have to do better than just post pics of people you don’t like. What exactly is disagreeable? Let’s hear your expert opinion.
Say what you will about Manton, but I’ve always liked this idea of how suits should fit:
1) Collar flush against the neck
2) No roll in the upper back below the collar
3) Back should be smooth all over except for some discretionary fullness (vertical folds) near the shoulder blades
4) Vents, if present, should not open or gape
5) Upper sleeves should be smooth and follow a convex outer line
6) Sleeves should follow the curve of the arms and not buckle in front or back
7) The coat should close at the waist button with, at most, a very slight "X" indentation.
8) Overall the coat should follow the curvature of chest and back, neither standing away nor resting and rippling as if lying on a shelf
Waist suppression, overall length, drape, fullness and many other details are discretionary.
