Disagreeable Menswear Post Of The Day

^ That whole outfit is uniformly awful - the baggy-crotch trousers, the overly tight jacket with embroidered stars along the rear hem, and the zip-up shirt underneath.

^ No, I think that they are the same shape. Your eyesight must be failing due to spending too much perusing undesirable sites on the internet.

searching for red buttons on every pic
its liek with pr0n
once you went all hardcore, everything else bores you

Who here lives in Europe and who makes good beer but is not a macro-brew owned by Inbev.

How is that related to the disagreeable menswear thread? Go start a beer snob thread or something. Beer snobs are the worst kind of beer drinkers.

Amen. I equate beer snobs and denim snobs. They are the exact same animal who completely miss the fucking point.

Is [Oli]the same person who was soliciting donations to pay for his trip to Japan, promising to send a small souvenir to people who contributed via some fund-raising website or, in the case of larger donations, to give them a phone call or have dinner with them?!?

Yes, that's the cat, man. Do you dig his groove?

I am hurt. As I sit here drinking my unpasteurized special pale ale brewed in batches of 1/2 bottle for exacting quality and taste I aslmost spit up on my rare Zimbabwean cotton denims made by crippled Japanese craftsmen in a jungle workshop in Okinawa. They are all decendents of Imperial Army soldiers who did not stop fighting WW II until 1975.

I'm not the problem, you are the problem. Check that, drinking at 10:01 AM is the problem.

Did I mention that the rivets contain crushed unicorn horn? Thank god for Selfedge.

are they japanese ARYANS????

The problem is internet competition. Making things just do be better (different) is absurd. People charge absurd rates so people hooked to their computers can brag to other people online that they have something different. It seems that modern culture has become an arms race with the jonses, except now the jonses is someone like foo - complete idiot whose wife keeps him kept.

But isn' this only true for a small % of the population. Yes, they are online shopping but only small numbers are acquiring obscure and expensive things the rest are buying more regular things from Walmart, Target and EBay.

Besides, do you know what the wholesale cost of unicorn horn is? It's ridiculous.

PLEASE TATTOO THIS ON INSTITCHES' FOREHEAD.

He has arrived as a sartorial chameleon. Is an appearance on America's best dressed competition far behind

I literally laughed for like 5 minutes straight.

Need a sportsbook on how long Stitchy touched himself after this was posted.

I saw this yesterday and my first thought was about how very, very, very, very pleased In Stitches will be to have been featured on PTO as a menswear exemplar.
You really should have shared with the group so we could have gotten a head start on the iShaming.

Well, I was thinking of posting it but then had a lot to do and entirely forgot about it.

I like the Panta suit that he's wearing there but I've realised that I don't like In Stitches' photos because of the facial expression that he adopts in almost all of his photos. He has a slightly petulant expression, with his lips a little pursed, and he usually looks off into the middle distance although he's contemplating something that makes him unhappy or uncomfortable - a bad bout of indigestion, perhaps.

If he adopted a happier, or at least a less petulant/sulky expression, it would really liven up his photos and, I think, make them look better.

What is that bit in the article that those are not even IS' pants?

Slightly disingenuous or probably more correctly poor journalism with a statement like Shlomo has been shifting his focus from obscure Neapolitan tailors.... makes it read like was is interacting with tailors rather than clicking "add to shopping cart"

All the acronyms get a bit confusing sometimes.
IS the person = In Stitches AKA Shlomo in Baltimore.
IS the trousers = Individual Sentiments, a clothing brand.
