when's the best time to buy a Nespresso and the packets? Looking at the Pixie or the CitiZ specifically. Do they even go on sale. Amazon has them for less money, as usual, but wondering if the holiday brings anything of note.
You can always get 20% off at Bed Bath & Beyond. Sur La Table will also match their coupons, on a store specific level. The caps never go on sale, but they often run rebate deals of $50-100 of credit towards them when you buy a new machine during the Christmas/Black Friday period.

Gracias. you still like your machine after a few years of use?
Any time. Yeah. I'm transitioning back to coffee now though. I only drink americanos these days and I don't have any company. But if you prefer shots, or have lots of people over, you can't beat the convenience.

I'm thinking about getting an Amazon Prime membership. Anyone interested in splitting it with me? You can list 3 "family" members per account so it would be $20 a pop. Let me know.

^ I had no idea you could do such a thing.

amazon prime is awesome. video itself is worth the $80 or whatever it is a year, but the 2 day shipping on things like toothpaste when I'm too fucking lazy to leave my house is life changing
Yeah, you sure can. The family members don't get the video benefits, or the Kindle library, but 2 day shipping for $20 is a good fucking deal. Check ebay - bunch of people selling off their membership slots.

For those who don't know, Amazon is raising the price of Prime to $99 next month. You can buy an extra year of service now at the $79 price until it takes effect.

Amazon has Koss Porta Pro headphones for only $25 today. My fav's for portable non-iem headphones, and decidedly old-school looking for those into that sort of thing.

AMEX Sync is back with some good offers like $15 off $75 at Home Depot and $5 off $5 at Dunkin Donuts. $5 off $30 at Exxon too.

I'd kill for a schott in my size
I probably won't go this year, but the bookend sizes tend to be what they have. Several years ago I picked up a decent Canadian-made black leather coat with a quilted liner and a slightly screwy zipper for $40 there. I didn't pay much for a giant goose down prototype (with assembly spec sheet in pocket) that my dad probably never wore...
Keep eyes on ebay on the week after, as the event is clearly attended by resellers rolling racks of stuff out the door.

All Eidos are 3r2, not good enough? Just realized I should buy it to use as a example for Luxire if I ever want to buy my own fabric. Went to Britex over the weekend and couldn't find anything worthwhile in cotton though, ugh.

I'm a US44/Euro54.

I don't mind three-button jackets in lighter colours as long as the jackets have proper three-roll-two lapels.

Don't remember you posting in any Eidos thread, are you off the trend wagon or did you try Eidos on and dislike it?

I personally liked the way it fit me.

I tend to get everything made-to-measure nowadays, so I haven't bought an off-the-rack suit, jacket, shirt or pair of trousers for four or five years now.

The only things I get off-the-rack are items like shoes, ties, pocket squares and so on.
