The wrinkles give it its charm.
I have some 50/50 linen/cotton and I believe linen/silk mix polos for summer. Very airy and comfy, but the texture differentiates them from your run of the mill cotton polos.
I do have a cotton terrycloth polo to go with the swim short (side adjusters only) and brewski.

Like Dog said, a lot of it is awful. Mostly made for the backpacker set. But, there are quite a few nicer options. Granted, they're not cheap. But they're nice.

Please tell us how you come to know about the opening of Sunspel. Wish had have went, but of course l would have only drank water.
Had you known of the brand before through Henry Bucks? Did you do research on the company before you went to the opening?

Nah, it seems like you are being too fancy for some of us monkeyface. Cotton is good for aussie blokes because of the hot weather. Hey, it's going to be about 102 today, and l ain't going to be some silly bugger wearin' wool LOL. l'll be in sunspel today like yesterday, but since it is New Years Eve l might wear my sea island or Q30.
Hey monkyface, who has been teaching you to avoid cotton, i-gents?
Btw, my Paul and Shark pants are a very high quality linen. They are quite amazing actually.
I fixed my computer by myself. I don't have any tech knowledge so I did it a different way. I eliminated the blockages interfering with it using mind activity with a combination of other fancy tricks.

Helped organise it. The clothing charity I'm with has a fundraising /networking organisation and we often use launches etc to raise funds and meet. Works for both sides, we get free drinks and food and they get a mailing list/attendance of a bunch of men proven to be interested in clothes, shoes, watches, whisky, wine, craft beer etc. We've worked with Double Monk, HBs, beer makers, law firms etc.
I'd known about Sunspel for a long time. The Ivy boys and others always talked about it as high end. It's not for me. In my world t-shirts and polos are low end cheap stuff for knocking around at home. I'm not a big timer like others here I'm just a simple suburban medium timer.
I thought the shop in Gertrude Street was the first Sunspel in Oz. But it's not something I've researched.

Lucky l don't see those cheap polos and t-shirts, l know l would look down my nose at such things. I am easily offended if the polos and t-shirts aren't high end.

It is, but they plan to open more stores - one in most states. Australia was there first market venture o/s I believe because opportunities to do things right first presented themselves in Oz. Sunspel carefully plan their growth overseas.
