sugarbutch fits right into a gay aidshole in amsterdam with his earrings and his beard

ConchitaWurst ConchitaWurst , Sugarbutch is in Amsterdam, are you going to extend an invitation to him to hang out?

Dubiously Honored
I'm in Amsterdam, unfortunately for work. We're staying very near Centraal Station. Mainly just walking and riding bicycles around the city. We tried to go to some museums on Monday, but the lines were incredibly long. Took a canal boat tour yesterday afternoon and went for a run along the waterfront and along some of the canals. After taking the bus to the office yesterday, we decided to rent bikes instead for today and tomorrow. A bit sweatier, but about the same amount of time and much more enjoyable.

I'm open to recommendations for things to do. It looks like we've checked off the to-do list for work, so tomorrow is likely wide open.
What happend to the old "go to Amsterdam to smoke a boatload of fine dope" attraction? That´s the part of Dutch culture people should be interested in first of all. You can visit a museum later. You won´t care for the length of the lines anymore, buddy. Guaranteed.

He probably went to Delft and bought a Christmas tree ball instead.

hello dear

how have you been?

you did the same? not manu people know this pro insider tip. it's even better than going to volendam and getting photographed in a traditional local costume

The people I was with just had to go like it was a mission. I was not in the market for Christmas balls or any pottery. Still a nice little town full of nice people and pottery-mad tourists.

Of course on the other hand I am all about costumes being an iGent and all

Leather samples
What do you like?
Remember, i want a rather dressy penny loafer

good update, complimenti.

actually, I like all of them, but for (a) different style(s). Not particular for a loafer. I can see e.g. derbies, split toes, casual boots - not lj stuff, of course. what kind of leather is it?

a dressy loafer should be from smooth leather. also, take cues from nice loafer styles and stay away from the chunky JL and meccarielo designs, imo

I wanted something in dark brown. will look at other samples.

will try to take a pic of other stuff they are currently making...

and the poor russians only have bespoke quality FRENCH CALF! : - (

imo, there is nothing wrong with the samples per se. its visible to be high quality. it just doesn't ring dressy/formal/conservative to me.

no offense, a dark brown loafer is neither fish nor foul, imo. how would you pair it? denim, chinos, twill, tweed of any sort ...?

besides your love for loafers. do you plan to commission anything else from them in the future? A loafer can be tricky for a first commission to get a sense for a good fit. ConchitaWurst ConchitaWurst what is your approach for a first order?

yes, please do. it would be interesting, who makes their lasts? probably an internal secret ... ?
