LKP's Sartorial Variety Thread - Everything all at Once

I think Lino looks like a nice guy
He seems to wear an awful bracelet and not a second Patek

+1 I quite like Lino. He made of his hobby a way of life. It doesn't mean that I like how he dresses.

So @sartonapoli, Italian women go to the marriage virgin?

Exactly - especially as the jacket was made-to-order.

If you get a cracking good deal on an off-the-rack jacket and you find that the sleeves don't fit and so the botched alteration ends up looking like IS's jacket, then you're silly for having purchased a jacket that doesn't fit properly but you don't really have any recourse.

However, where you've had a jacket made specifically for you, and the sleeves don't fit you, then clearly the appropriate thing to do would be to get the jacket re-made, or to at least have the sleeves re-done.

I'm both surprised and disappointed that IS seems so accepting of it and that so few people bothered to comment on it and that they seemed so accepting of his explanation.

Isn't it obvious? He probably got a really good deal on it, a friendcustomer 50% discount. You're not going to make a fuss about sleeves when you get such a good deal.

...but then he should hide it and not photosession-ise it....

To be honest, the mofo on the left wears that pink jacket nicely
.
I'm with you Pauly - to an extent.
This photo is a good teaching point to all you ignorant tackys.
Mr Pink looks off - not because of his basic choices - they are fine even within the conservative canon but because his jacket is, to use a technical term some of you may not be familiar with, its TOO FUCKIN SHORT.

When the jacket ends above the crutch its bad bad bad. Destroys the overall look. Just glance across at Mr Lettuce - despite being a short arse his jacket covers his crutch - and in fact may be on the long side even for tolerant Illuminati like myself. BUT. As a result Mr. Lettuce 's overall look is better. Much better.

Please think about this and discuss in your small groups PRIOR to voicing your INFORMED opinion in public.

edit: The less said abut the beardo profanator in cargo pants on the left the better.

Lino have twisted brain. I do not dischart he is also unmen. Who real man of his generation ( The Duce era, 1930s) reaches the 75 years old unmarried?
Also any real woman would stand such tacky around, and less an Italian woman that got familiar values, class and Paleoconservative sacred values.
Maybe in Barcelona or NYC but not there...
Like you it saddens me too that we no longer have real men like Il Duce, Caudillo and the Führer to show the way.

you do not have a good eye for detail. look at the little ticket pocket on the right leg. it matches the nifty ticket pocket on his jacket. also great lapel button hole game matching his eyewear and pocket square. the latter is a bit too business for my taste with all the white. but he may have carefully chosen it to pair with the double cuff shirt. all in all thumbs up 7

Mr Pink could also do with wearing white trousers that are a little less, how shall we say it, tight?

He's really not hiding anything with those trousers, particularly as his jacket's so short.

he likes to flaunt his stuff for the other gheys

i'm a bit confused tbh. i thought the business on top/party on bottom was a look only done by humble arthisans and sometimes copied by other conservative orthodox dressers but it seems that the ghey finnish obamaist blogger also supports this look. Thruth Thruth plz explain

sì, naturalmente. the lack of sunshine during l'inverno en la Finlandia affects the brain of the giant blogger with tree stump lady thighs. this coupled with the high cost of alcohol makes the Finlandese binge drink to cure the deep pain of seasonal affective disorder causing strange thoughts of narcissism resulting in high, deep and wide style crimes.

when the brain damaged Finlandese is around renowned style icons such as me, Lino, he sees but he does not fully understand because of the damaged brain tissues. it is partially my fault because since i am revered in Asian lands especially, i can take the risks because i know the dangers, but sometimes i wrongly influence the neophyte. an example; this fit only can work for me, Lino, not Lurch from Finalandia

grazie mille Thruth Thruth , molto illuminante.

prego mio amico. while I am accepting responsibility, it is I Lino who is responsible for men wearing unbuckled monk strap shoes. one day i unbuckled for comfort and the #menswear photographers who are as rampant as lice infesting a Morroquian drug dealer on Napoli snapped a photo and il resto è storia!

here are some nice pictures i took when i ran into Thruth Thruth on the canary islands

that was just after i ran into lino at pitti. where i also met up with my mate mohamad ayoubi. they introduced me to another very stylish scandinavian (wow there are so many) ole fevang.

these larger than life characters are such an inspiration to me that i decided to paint them as well. i hope you like it Thruth Thruth

Yo, LKP LKP , you like one button sleeves, right? I thought'd I'd give it a try. Quick question: Is the one button on your sleeve the same size as the buttons you button your jacket with, or is it just one tiny button, the same size you'd use if you had 4 buttons on your sleeves?
