I am starting to appreciate green socks more and more. When l bought those argyles the green pair really stood out, stunning. Will order multiples of that green argyle and others next year.

William Abraham used to sell a beautiful pair of green as well. Pricey, but what a sock. If you bought a few pair of these and that green olive argyle in the link [above] you'd be set.

I also am lucky enough to have multiples (about 7 pairs) of a made-in-England 4 ply alpaca over-the-calf sock in olive/forest green. I wear it with green and brownish/green tweed trousers to a stunning effect. Also own multiples (about 6 pair) of the Viccel wool/silk socks in green, while not in the league of the others above, they are nice to wear.

Got some really good ones recently, again from Bresciani. Many wools, linens and some shadow stripe cottons.

Decided to put my different brands of sox in a case each, ie, Corgi in the corgi case, Bresciani it's case, Gallo in it's case etc. Would hate to have them all in a sock draw and forget who made what.

Was getting ready to order a boatload of those Kabbaz bresciani argyles made in the special thick woolen knit, but sadly Kabbaz site has finished after many years. Such a big blow because Kabbaz ordered 72,000 pairs and had a special knit made for those sox, and we can't get those types of socks anywhere else. So now l am stuck with only limited pairs of stunning favourites that will need to be rationed out to last for years. Was going to order a boatload of the greens, red/black/grey and purple argyles because they are stunning, but now I can't get them anymore. BIG blow.

My red socks isn't an option eithwer because most of their socks are ugly, so l will be going through local stores to do special orders.

I am going to do a big order this year of Bresciani wool, some cottons and some linens. 100 pairs all up. Will be buying multiples of some of these lovely colours...purples and greens will be heavily stocked up on.


Of course l will also also 2 pairs of many others too, and multiples of shadow stripe socks and linen socks. 70 pairs will be ordered through Double Monk while l will trial a 30 pair order through extra special contact American Tailors.

These special make Bresciani pairs will never be at the kABBAZ LEVEL AGAIN, but at least they are still decent. I should also do a big order from Corgi again too, those thick wellington boot sox l love so much. If l could get 30 pairs of them as well, then l could focus on William Abraham next year.

You may say it is a lot, but it isn't really. Sox wear out. Always good to have a special sock vault to store some extras.
