No, no. Sorry. This was just plain garbage. Made for low IQ people with stupid humor and lowest common denominator topics. It has very little social relevance and made no cultural impact.

Not really, though. That team was on a nosedive anyway. The current Knicks are ridiculous non-fit for the Triangle, yet Fish and Jax will try to hammer it in. If they want to carry on with that offense (which they do), they have to rebuild that squad completey. First thing should be to get rid of Anthony. Look for the teamplay to improve once Anthony shuts it down for the season. I think Fisher is a great motivator and manager, the Xs and Os are probably taken care of by the assistants (with Jackson guiding the way).

It sucked but it made it's mark. It shaped the sitcom and most NBC programming for years.
There was an inexplicable craze for the "Rachel" shitty shag haircut. People gave a damn about the annoying David Schwimmer Ross character, cuckold to a lesbian. Fucking sitting around in coffeehouses experienced a revival. "How you doin"?" became a pickup line. None of this is good, but the show, on in reruns to an extent rivaling Law & Order, is in the public psyche to this day.

I laughed when I heard that on the news. Of all the things that could be said this item is deemed newsworthy. He cannot strum a guitar to write songs. Can he play piano? A recorder? Something to get the melody down so the real guitar playt in he group can do something with it.

He will now have more time to travel the world and do Louis Vuitton ads.

Besides, who the fuck goes by one name these days beside Brazilian football players?

Based on being a Player Union rep, being one of the leaders of a couple of championship teams and everything you hear about him in the media. Sure, Jax has never built a team himself - he never had to. BUT, he always made teams click. He knows the blueprint for successful teams, the Knicks will be fine.

True, but I think, based on what I´ve said above, that he has the tools. And he has knowledgeable people around to help him grow into coaching. To me, that makes him more likely to become a good coach than, say, Kidd or Shaw.
 
I have taken up permanent residence in a two-bedroom suite on the 12th floor of a hotel in Semarang. All my life I've heard stories about my favorite authors, adventurers and other people of interest living in hotels. Turns out... bit over-rated.

I have been subjugating an awful lot of people lately. More so than usual, even. That is mostly because prices set in their 2015 economic accounted for the rupiah trading at 12,500 to the dollar. It is nearing 15,000 now. As I get paid in USD that means the whole country is on sale and my converted salary keeps going up. It's nice, quite nice.

But that sort of talk has no place in an 'over-rated' thread. In fact, I would encourage everyone able to get themselves in a similar situation.

I'm not sure anyone has every bought a toyota carolla because it was a dream car to drive. You buy a toyota for basic transportation with an eye on reliability and value.

While i agree on that, hondas are a lot better at that. They drive a hell of a lot better and are decent looking.

Well, that's relative. I'm not sure how any 2 cars with 103 HP, 175 tires, and front wheel drive torque steer can be that substantially different. Neither can is designed for a driving experience.

Hmmm, if I could pick just one of Christ's parlor tricks to use as my own, i think i'd pick the water - to - wine trick instead. Unless teh Muslins have a problem with that, too.

Maybe come back from the dead, then you wouldn't have to worry about the 320' drop off the side of the pool.

Actually, there is a maintenance ledge about 2 meters down but we call it the 'murder shelf' on account of the roving bandits, venomous snakes, Komodo dragons and this one pissed of miniature rhino that make it their home.

Yeah the coming back to life - been done before, but never very well. Seems everyone who comes back kinda walks slowly and stiff-legged, moans and grumbles a lot, and only eats brains. What kind of life is that?
