What Are You Wearing Today?

unlined, unstructured, dubious fit jacket, plz fowgive me.View attachment 25941

I like this but your ties are not dubious but seem to have an identity crisis. The tie in rig above is it a knit or self-stripe knit. I feel one or the other would be demonstrably better

This one below: the tie has too many motifs going on and when printed on a puke-green background and similar identity issue as above. Maybe irl, it is different but on the screen it jumps at me.

I have been on the hunt for a navy knit for ages now. This is a very old one. I just can't spend 50 euros on a tie anymore and have to thrift or buy from outlets; couldn't find a decent navy knit yet, as incredible as it sounds.

The green is a madder I had made at Cappelli while in Naples, when I still had money to spend. I loved the cloth when I saw it, but as a tie it ended up a bit too busy indeed.

Later I'll show you my favourite Crapelli tie which I'm wearing today. It's 3 fold untipped with light (not super light) interlining. It doesn't make a twisted knot unlike the other Crapelli ties I have (which have super light interlining).

rdiaz, I have a navy silk knit made in italy I don't use anymore (I prefer the crunchy knits from Ascot). Good price and not many year on its shoulders.

Is it not crunchy? I'm searching for a crunchy knit like Cappelli's. Got pics?

It's not crunchy but is silk and made in italy. I also have forest green, dark brown, light blue, navy with light blue spots and cream. Each one 10€ plus shipping.

C'mon - gift them! What's €10 anyway?

You can shill for him then get them free. Then you will be featured in the prominent shills thread.
Anyways, I can drink two cubatas for €10, so not a negligible amount!
By the way, if you're up for gifting stuff, I'm all ears :crazytroll:

Some good prices on the website Outlet section, but how do they compare to say, Drakes? Well, they're certainly more cost effective...

Texture? It all looks printed on the website.

Thanks.

They are as well made as drakes. I prefer the "unlined" ones, but the regular 3 fold are fine too.

He does have a several appropriately hideous jacquard silk ties in the outlet. this type of tie has a very nice texture.

Bucks, I think these would suit both of us :

Very sorry

That's unfair. I like the rest of your ensembles. How about I write nice stuff about your ties in my blogz and in teh forvms. You know liking them is not a requirement for that. My idol Craptom does it all the time.

EU 48 with verri extended (and hollow) shoulders wont fit you either, aye?

EU 48 fits half of me. Two jackets and maybe I could wear one on each half.

Disclaimer:
Of course it is not 48
Because the living customer is a living customer and not a fixed number
Etc blabla insert neapolitan sweet talk tailor lies right here

That's absolutely irrefutable; a living customer is a living customer because otherwise he'd be a dead customer. Then the time would come for us respokers to wear that dead customer's clothes.

3-fold untipped light lined (2 layers) Crapelli. Love this print even though when my GF saw it the first time asked me if the red paisleys were prawns. I have difficulties to find tissues that I like from Crappelli website. I have to say that I prefer the small Marinella prints but I'm VERY picky with the colour combinations, space and distribution of the motives.

Spanish badspoke shirt with those super cutaway collars that were fashionable some years ago. Small barleycorn Canclini which is not half bad.

There's a thrift store (not common in Madrid) near my grandmother's house, which sells ties for €3. Sometimes she carries nice stuff, from known brands, but the other day she offered me some Mickey Mouse printed ties. Wtf. At least they weren't jacquards, which would have been far worse. Didn't take them in the end.
