What Are You Wearing Today?

Today I was wearing my single shot latte weak coloured cotton 3 /2 button Canterelli suit, 8.25" cuffless leg opening, no break trousers, dark brown suede chukkas, blue lines checked Zegna shirt with a cotton black knit square end tie. I also managed to slop some mayo from my Subway 6" with extra jalapeño and salami on the sleeve. Fixed it with a Baby Wipe.

I'd do a similar kitonbrioni style text, but I don't think my "kit" or "outfit" today is cresting $150.
hell, LL Bean cactus oxfords, red LE wool OTC socks, LE chinos, Uniqlo "extrafine cotton" striped shirt under grey heather lambswool v-neck from Macy's.

Pic is from a year ago - local brand on special 2 for $100 aud. They have lost the shine and gone a bit dull. I don't like the cuff either. Never wear the cuff. The fit is ok on teh jeans - except for rise and the dull faded look. I was thinking of getting a Luxire pair made up in high rise. I need jeans for when I want to appear relatively normal and slide under the radar.

Instead of going all baller with a Luxire pair, why not start with something like a pair of nice Levi's?
 
The beard makes the high collar more noticeable. I think it's the yellow in the tie that throws this for me, as it draws a hair too much attention to the brown. On the other hand, it saves this from being bi-chromatic and who knows who accurate the colors are showing.
 
An evening outfit. I'm wearing a slightly darker blue shirt so that the midnight blue suit and black tie don't wash me out. It also avoids the whole funeral outfit confusion.

I am no iGent. Can't rock that look. Beside it was 12 degrees here, so I need all the warmth I can get. Thought about rocking some Yohji, but decided against it. The suburbanites have a weird reaction to wearing drapey black.

I am one of the few guys who wear color during the colder months. Everyone here sticks with navy and black or run of the mill khakis.

No one. Don't really do much with Instagram either. Knit ties are fine with nearly any kind of jacket in my book.

Personally, i'd agree with ConchitaWurst ConchitaWurst that the jacket and tie don't go together. I've always seen them as a casual jacket and your tie + pleats + shoes suggests "not casual" to me. but that is a matter of preference. same with the open bottom tow buttons. not for me.

this is an actor or model or both, with good looks. anything will look good on him. it's like LKP LKP . but mortals like me or Monkeyface Monkeyface should look in the mirror twice before leaving the house.
 
I'm always afraid people think I'm hiding a gun when I put my hands in my pockets like that. It might look good in a picture, but it looks ridiculous in real life.
