Why Are You Pissed Off Today?

The Ace looks okay and the Shoreditch area in general is good for the getaway. I'll check them out. It really needs a car park to be considered. I stayed in a great one with Japanese breakfast along with all the good English stuff a few years back, but can't remember the name now. Last recommendation I took for a London hotel was a disaster full of Arab looking lads and lasses.

It's 3 nights with 2 shows to fit in, the museums and then on the third morning it's north bound.

Nothing quite like London for getting non-Brits all excited. The Brazilians use to woo over it: Londres!

Why are you driving in London? There's the shoreditch car park, pretty cheap place to store your car while you're in town. Ace is super hipster btw, but it's a nice cultural experience.

My Missus is super straight laced, she wouldn't dig them hipster folk. So that's off the list.

Now she's looking for something with a mini-kitchen in for breakfast, as she doesn't want to pay for breakfast."We can go to the local supermarket and stock up!" I've tried to explain, and again, you can't do London on the cheap. Pay your dues and be thankful you don't live there when you've spent 2 grand over the weekend.

Anyway, looks like high tea in the Ritz is on the cards. I think everyone should do this just once. It's a bit of old time grandiose presentation of the English tea ritual.

Sounds like a boring missus. Don't try to do London on the cheap, you'll have an awful time. I use my kitchen once a week at most.

Make sure you stop by the rivoli bar after the high tea, or better yet, beforehand. Enjoy one of their finest champagne based cocktails at £30 a pop.

All missus's are boring, it comes with the territory. No sexual excitement or love kick can survive the mundane of living together, mortgages and kids. Anyone who say's otherwise is liar. You have a solid bond in your heart, but it's based on other things, like a shared investment in the future generation and hopefully paying off your mortgage kick and having some security.

So you're saying the solution is not getting a mortgage or kids?

Easy peasy

I'm a liar then

What is it with those bloody people who insist on holding their mobile phone 20 cm/8 inches away from their face and talk with loudspeaker on?

And what's worse do it on crowded public transport as well.

Why?

Video chat. I also found them holding it arm's length in front of them whilst walking in the city with no intention to change paths if they are walking into someone because they are solely involved in their video conference. If someone rang me like that I'd vomit from the motion sickness.

*#$& now I'm in the project. I might actually have to lob a grenade or fire a mortar here. Isn't that why I had staff to do it for me?

Sometimes even the generals need to walk in the trenches

If I was that, I would be on the steering committee or I'd be part of the key executives team. But I'm not so I'm in the trench with the lads firing machine guns and calling in airstrikes. I might even have to dig my own foxhole.

I'm at my weekly watering hole and ever since the daily paper published she is closing with a photograph 1/4 of the page the place is packed to the gills with tourists and folks who have never even been here. 27 years you could have come and you come in the last two weeks after it hits the papers. There's a queue to this 20 something person indoor bar sans windows at lunch times on a sunny summer day.

That's a bit melodramatic for a bloke who is in charge of the photocopying

Can anybody translate this gibberish.

If there isn't an operations department, the wheels start coming off. The yellow paper must be routed to go into the yellow bin. It's imperative for the firm's survival.

The majority of them down here aren't even American.

They recuse themselves from the holiday and keep working?

I actually meant more about the quality and availability of care for you.

The quality of care is directly associated with how much you're spending on it. That is the ONLY thing that matters

I gave up. He wants to be grumpy and bitter so let him be. Perhaps the foreigners lighting off fireworks and sacrificing their first borns for a green card or H1B today will put him in the happy thread.

yesterday was a rough day. frustration piled on frustration.

People wearing backpacks on crowded public transport. If you know you're hitting people why do you keep swaying back and forth?!

People who don't carry a handkerchief or tissues in winter when they have a sniffle. I think I'm catching a train full of fucking diseased, cocke-addicted horses there's so much sniffling and snorting going on. Ironically women seem to be the worst offenders.

BLOW YOUR FUCKING NOSE!

Came home from work and only noticed this because a black fly was sitting right in the middle of this dent.
There was some sort of a row late on Sunday just under my window.
So my guess is that some drunk, fucktard male teens started a fight to impress the horrible fat chicks they seem to like up here.

Man, that's frustrating! Hopefully, you can get it fixed by one of those dent removal places that use suction to pull out the dent, rather than having to take it in to a panel beater. It does look fairly deep, though, but thankfully the paint doesn't appear to be damaged.

I walked a 5900 yard course today pulling a cart and I was knackered by hole 16. I couldn't even swivel my hips anymore for a driver or my hybrid. Might have something to do with the 30c+ heat. For every good shot I made, I was saving myself from a bad drive or bad second shot. It was just punishing. By the time I made it on the green I only had one putt to score a bogey.

last month florida passed new restrictions on medical marijuana and now the gates are starting to open. trouble is, they put so many fucking restrictions on getting a medical card that these doctor cocksuckers are taking advantage. you need to go and have your initial visit, which most people are charging $250 for. Then you need to go and get the license from the state, which takes 3-4 weeks and costs $75. Then you need to get a prescription from the doctor, which may or may not be a $100 charge, depending on the dr. Then you need to go and get the weed, which there is only one dispensary down in Miami (hour drive). The prescriptions legally are only allowed to be for a 70 day period. The doctors may or may not charge to have the prescription "refilled". Some docs were only allowing 30 days prescriptions, and others were charging $100 per "refill". After 6 months you need to see the doctor again, which will likely be another $250.

No idea yet how the dispensaries are gouging the customers on pricing.

If this is true, I'd rather just take the risk and buy it off the streets instead of going thru all this.

Maybe the man wants to have weed that isn't fumigated by dodgy pesticides.

Managed to get a very slight, yet very annoying yellow curry stain on the cuff of one of my favourite T&A 120s shirts. Washed it, it's still there and although it's likely fixed now, hopefully Vanish will do the trick. It's these type of things that really pee me off until they're sorted.

Dress for the occasion mate. I never try messy foods with my best jackets or shirts.
