Your aspirational wish list:

One of these two suits will be my next suit purchase:

Either of those suits are going to be my next suit purchase. Bespoke, at least in Korea, is just too much of a hassle.

Grand Potentate Grand Potentate What happened to the "Image with options"? The images are hosted on the suitsupply website and are huge. The resizing didn't stick and uploaded all giant.

Chorn Chorn it was fucking with the mobile viewing. Hopefully a fix is coming but its not definite. Use a spoiler for now.

Chorn Chorn if you are getting it shipped overseas I would do a lot of research on the model and sizing. SuitSupply can be hard to nail down in fit across different models.
I've a friend who works there, so I'll be talking with him.

I used to have a cotton SC to use with jeans or something more casual, but now that I put some muscle it doesn't fit anymore... don't know if I should buy this one:

Out of wish list. Owned. :fyeah-16:

Really love this tie, but I'm very much on the fence about owning it. On one hand, the brown, blue, and gray undertones will make this very easy to match. On the other hand, this seems like a tie that I won't want to wear in ten years or so (likely to look dated). I fully intend on most of my ties still being in rotation in ten years as at most they get worn once a month (with a few exceptions). Thoughts?

Not as much as jrd I think. I've got maybe 70-80 ties in my rotation with 15 or so getting heavy wear (heavy wear = twice a month). All of them get worn at least once every two months.

But ties are indeed my favorite part of my wardrobe.

70 to 80 ties? :spit-94:

I have like 20 ties... problem is that I don't need to use a tie everyday.

I don't need to wear ties at all. I work in a business casual environment. I only wear a suit twice a month maybe...everything else is odd jacket/trou. There is another guy in the office who will occasionally wear ties (note: my influence there...I've even purchased a few for him) when he doesn't need to, but I'm pretty much the eccentrically well dressed guy of the office.

Haha nice. I think I would do that too if I had moar ties.

I periodically will try to wear them all once. When I get down to the last 5 or 10 unworn ties, I know these are probably ready for Goodwill. Otherwise, the shit just get unmanageable.

A Canuker that is very nice! I would like to do that someday, but something that could be in my family for years... but I don't have plans of having kids... so it might not work. :LOLguy-88:

I'll say that for all the stuff that I know he put this watch through and the stuff I have done to it they are made beyond tank like. For some time I wanted to purchase a watch of my own but now I've grown to love this thing. It makes me "sad" to recall when he told me that I was to have and use it as prior to that day I was in full ignorance/denial of how far along his cancer had gone. LC wants a similar Rolex to be able to pass down to our younger girl which sounds like a good plan, we have looked at a few and I hope to be getting it done in the next year or so but they are a chunk of moola and it seems something is always around the bend looking for our dollars.

I like this idea. I've never been one to really understand the draw of massively expensive watches - but I do like the idea of getting one to run "in the family." FWIW, I've always been partial to submariners.

Now that the Carminas are crossed off the list, this is my next shoe to obtain:

Alden Snuff Suede Leydon Unlined Chukka. I've tried denying it via shell and CXL, but I freaking love suede.

Plus, you can't go wrong looking like this, amirite?

Modified last, man. mouldedshoe.com

Its not as easy as you think. Normally, places don't stock widths like that. And when they special order them, you have to keep them. Plus, then you have to order several sizes to try to figure out what works. And return shipping is a bitch on several boxes of shoes.
