When visiting a post, the very top of it is covered by the navigation bar. This happens in FFox and chrome and I've seen it happen on more than 1 machine.

Interesting. Can you take me a screen shot please. I'll take it to the developer. I think I know what you're talking about.
 
Apologies for the short downtime. A security update for the forum software got released and I wanted to get it installed right away.
 
Apologies everyone. I just completely wiped out all of our style edits somehow and have to redo everything from scratch. This is definitely going to take me a little while. I really hate this forum software bullshit sometimes.

This is the stock theme that the forum software comes with. Will have the other theme back up in a few. Then I need to redo all the options and whatnot.
 
Also, we're changing the chat addon, so that will be out of action for a little bit.

Theme is back up and running.

Comes with the territory. New versions bring potential for new problems. Usually things go pretty smoothly. Every now and then, they don't. I normally don't bother you guys with the little stuff. Only when things cause big visual changes or bust essential features.
 
New chat is up and running. Not all the options are setup quite yet. Will let you guys know when it is.

its amazing what can go wrong with updates an simple things.
Like a click at the wrong time.
And with an active forum you cant just roll everything back to lasts weeks backup - like you can do with more static sites
 
What do you think of this for the forum color? Too light? This is 1d38a2

For contrast, the reply buttons are the old blue.

I'm going color blind so its time to call it a night.

One shade darker on the light grey post boxes and sidebars would help relax viewing. And then switching the current quote box white background to the current light grey post box color.

Last one's an eggplant which might be my favorite, the middle one's the better of the two navys.

018c1d is currently the forum main color. I honestly can't make out the difference between that and black. Here are some more purples I found for you:

Those colors are more purseforumish.

You mean someone turning down their phone brightness which compensates for the too bright white, light gray background? Fix the baseline then the eggplant would be visible.

I can see the eggplant no problem, switching the black menu bar to eggplant is an option to separate from Styleforum, while keeping the the sub-menu bar the current charcoal.

It's not currently eggplant
 
I just gave a few color suggestions to improve this forum, if it's too hard to do then don't bother, xenforo looks like crap.
 
I switched the colors back to the normal blue, the supporters to red, and the moderators to purple.

If anyone other than the man who doesn't like anything I do has an opinion I'd be happy to hear it.
