A Futile and Stupid Gesture: The History of the Trump Presidency & Q-Anon

"'As I greet presidents, prime ministers, dictators, kings, queens ... I don't see it for myself, I just don't,' Trump said in early April when the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention began recommending widespread mask use to slow the spread of the coronavirus."

Obviously in that order - presidents, prime ministers, dictators.....

Not quite sure why you would call a dictator separately.

Kind of hard not to have this happen with something to the effect of "shall we confuse him into lying?" written in the margin notes, no?

Actually, that's a pretty common tactic when examining a suspect. Ask him questions, get his answers, ask questions in a different, perhaps more roundabout way, and compare the answers. If the two sets of answers are contradictory, then you have caught the person lying and can apply pressure.

No this way to mislead him into lying or to admit to a lie that wasn't there. not the same.

I completely see what the President sees in her. Good choice.

I wouldnt turn it down, certainly. But i generally prefer the ribeye over the filet.

Those waif like beauties: like something out of the 20s, or good for the Mary Quant girl Mod look style. Does zero for me now.

You want the curves in the right places, not a plus size model, but a bit athletic and an extra extra thin layer of plumpness. That's where the fun lies. For awhile at least.

I don't get how you use the same Twitter platform to rail and threaten to shut down Twitter.

He's going to bring them to heel!

At this stage, they are not platforms, but making editorial decisions and therefore must be 100% responsible for the content they publish.

He can’t do shit. First Amendment and all that. If he doesn’t like Twitter he can stop posting his crap there.

Conservatives aren’t happy seeing him go after the 1st. Especially after torching the 2nd.

I've watched several stomping on heads videos by the mob today. Ugly. I've seen in reality, that evil within that sees those who shit their pants being confronted individually turn into a squad of angered baboons.

Those who endorse this are evil and they're cowards. Including members of this forum. They know who they are and you do too.

Trump is right to declare Antifa and their kind terrorists. I know several members of the forum are Antifa. You are part of the problem and no solution.

Your time on the stage is coming to an end. Good.

Biden already leads Trump 10% in the polls. Add in his complete fucking up of the pandemic response, riots and racial injustice, the rich getting richer while the economy is tanking and people just sick of the idiotic toxic hate coming out of Washington, Trump is toast. The next swamp creature is moving in.

I wish that were true ( wish, used very loosely as Biden is terrible) but I don't see Trump being unseated tbh.

first of all there isn't an antifa member here. get your facts straight.

secondly, i notice you don't mention all the videos of people getting beaten, maimed, injured, and deformed at the hands of these criminal thugs.

you of all people should be wary of labeling certain groups. because if it happens to one group then it could happen to another. i shouldn't need to tell you that this could easily be a reichstag fire style event.

There's no Antifa members of the forum? I understand it's probably not a good idea to advertise the fact with federal prosecutions on the way. Likely going to focus the attention of the middle class armchair revolutionaries. Unless you're willing to go to jail for your cause, it's not much of a cause is it?

I've already posted some videos if you cared to look. A quick meander through Twitter will turf up enough evidence of mindless thuggery and violence.

Protesters no problem there. Those using this as a vehicle to stoke violence and looting in the hope of igniting a revolution, I call them out and they should be dealt with ruthlessly and with the full force of the law.

There is no comparison with the Reichstag fire and you well know it.

again, there are no antifa members. i know for a fact that there are several members who agree with their message and what they do. but that is a big difference. all we have on this forum are middle class people so i'm not exactly sure what you're going for here with this message. if you're asking about me personally i happily risked the police to protest today. gotta put your money where your mouth is.

so how should the people effect change? lets be honest, non-violent protests haven't gotten them anywhere. voting isn't working. reforming the system isn't working. what's left for these people? i'm legitimately asking.

i honestly disagree at this point. i will admit its a ways off but if trump continues the crackdown and it becomes violent then i think it could turn real nasty real quick in this country. trump has a known history of hating minorities and his cabinet is filled with a bunch of religious zealots.

"President Donald Trump has dismissed advice from his allies urging him to tone down his rhetoric and held back so far on a formal address to the nation as cities across the country faced another night of fiery protests.

As the roar of police helicopters and chanting crowds reverberated through the White House grounds for a third night, Trump once again opted against seeking to make prime time remarks from the Oval Office, as other presidents have done in times of domestic crisis.

Instead, he spent the day on Twitter, doubling down on a strategy of calling for stronger police tactics that critics have said is only worsening the situation."

I was about to ask whether he has addressed the nation yet with a formal behind the Oval Office desk speech but it looks like he is doubling down on that communication venue he believes is censoring him.

This is a leadership vacuum. With 100,000 people dead and rioting across the country, Trump turned out the lights and hid in the basement rage tweeting.

There is one Antifa member by their own admission, or at least claims to be. I wasn't accusing anyone personally.

An alternative would be to stand the cops and National Guard down and let it rip. Then it will be street and block wars, Korean shooters taking out the looters like back in '92. Your racial problems will intensify and it won't be for the benefit of the down trodden and the BLM movement.

As you well know, it will be the secret service who make the decision to go into a secured zone.

Whatever Trump does, his enemies will be enraged and hysterical.

i think sympathizer is the correct term. be careful throwing around accusations in these trying times.

i certainly do understand that. you have the same problems with the technocrats in brussels that we do with the cops. it all boils down to the same thing in the end - power.

its heading that way. i dont necessarily disagree with you on the outcome. mostly because these protests never target the actual centers of power like the politicians and law. only retail chain outlets and small businesses. and you see how the cops protect those. imagine if they headed towards a senator's house?

They've been gathering information since day one. The decisive moment approaches. Better run for cover if you've been an active member engaged in the agitating of the glorious revolution.

Oh, and don't I know that. For reasons I can't disclose. They have everything on everyone. Including, me. But I'm deemed clean.
