Grossa grenadine and unfussed unshirt collar with pinstripes... not feeling it. Not terrible but not perfect. Would look better with a crisp collar and a finer tie IMO.

Generally I agree about sweaters under suits, but this works ok I think. A (muted fair isle) sweater under a tweed suit is way better than the look of a woolly jumper under shiny worsted. The colours are nice too - dark green, camel, black - not cliched but not the usual Pitti combo of lilac with bic yellow and antique crimson. Also like the swelled edges on the jacket.

I could do without his hat. I generally find that most of his headgear does not look good to me but that is just me. There was a pic before the one I chose that had what I thought was a good hat.

Take that cost off and I did not like the suit. Fit well but to me was meh

Most people on the fora dress better than most people in the real world. So if that is who he is being compared to them you are correct.

But he is posting on a menswear forum and those are his peers.

While he can put together a good fit, fundamentally his love of Oxxford and the square shoulder design works against him.

Why Oxxford? Because, IMO, he can thrift them and find deals on them while not paying retail but still being able to tell his internet friends that he is wearing Oxxford.
