Not fully, as the angle is quite acute. But you can see some of them, look quite plastic and girly watches from afar: the sun one, the baby blue (Neptune?). The moon one I reckon is good enough. You could sport that on holiday down at the beach two weeks and have no problem with sand or getting robbed.

Here is a pic that someone who walked through Grand Central in NYC on the 26th posted. I walked through soon after and said...F that! It was early.

I stopped at the same store this past Sat and was told that they would not be receiving any new stock anytime soon. I was told that the store in Times Sq, WTC and 5th Ave(I believe) would be the only NYC stores getting new stock with the next release.

I stopped by the Times Sq later and they didn't know when new stock would come in. I asked how it was on the 26th. Dude said it was crazy!

I asked how many new pieces they would get in for the next drop. He said...they were not allowed to say.

They didn't even have them displayed in the window. They have the empty case...but no watches.
 
Couldn't be helped. Demand is going to be insane though so not sure of my chances.

Job well done: ''This created a provocation. It was unexpected. If a collaboration doesn’t give you an emotional shock, it isn’t effective.'' And keeping it all secret until a couple of days before.

I'm still up for one, or three for the kids. But next time I will take them too, so we have someone to go and coffees whilst were in the line. Because there will be another long wait and queue you can guarantee that.

Great choice.

If you have a purchase history I don't think you'll have any problems getting one. It's one thing to buy a steel watch for flipping it but buying a 60k gold watch is a whole other thing.

That's my hope, and clearly going to be different than a herd of people clamoring over a steel tool watch hoping to make money. The one thing that worries me is my dealer no longer carries Vacheron, but I have a track record with Vacheron themselves in so far as I have watches bought new and registered. I have a call with them Tuesday, so I'm hoping that brings good news.

Vacheron is pretty clean compared to the Rolex-Pimp-Your-Daddy it's not really a watch - instant asset that can be liquidated immediately for more than you paid for it - having to get out of Dodge or a continent or two very quickly.

Vacheron isn't tainted by that, methinks.
 
Okay, got a question for the watch guys here. I picked up a Perlon strap for my watch. It came with a silver buckle, so I bought a gold buckle, but it's not quite the same color as the watch metal. I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do. Edit: formatting wonky on desktop. I think I'm going to go with a different strap altogether now.

I'm sorry, but it may be my eyes. Is the watch silver?
