The dial style? It's called a sector dial.interesting. what drew you to this one in particular? what would you call this design style? kind of looks like a half bauhaus/half japanese retro look to me.
The dial style? It's called a sector dial.
I liked the clean execution of the markers and somewhat practical no nonsense look. Pricepoint did not hurt either.
Have previously looked at the Longines heritage classic and the Omega ck 859 re-edition. Found both a bit too fussy (and I'm not a diplomat).

like all omegas, its definitely overpriced as new.I actually looked at it a while back. Is it $6500 HOT?
Agreed. Doesn’t need the double layer minute track.I like that Omega. Could be a little less 'fussy" but it's a nice looking watch.
Yep. I remember that the Speedmaster was around £3k in 2017, brand new from an AD...like all omegas, its definitely overpriced as new.
can't imagine why...I just won this on ebay for next to nothing
It's apart of horologic history and was only £18.00...can't imagine why...
Why not just get a sun dial then and really take it back to the horological roots? It's apart of horologic history and was only £18.00...
Do you carry a sun dial with you?Why not just get a sun dial then and really take it back to the horological roots?
Do you carry a sun dial with you?
I like their whole catalogue, to varying degrees, tbh. That green diver grabbed my eye as well as the panda above. It says price includes VAT - I wonder if that comes off when you order from the US?![]()
Naos white
A classic dress watch - newly interpreted. The slim case of only 6 mm diameter thickness, allows it to slide under any shirt cuff. The Naos embodies our brand like no other model. Therefore, since our name is German for "star glass", it was only logical to that we named the Naos after a star...www.sternglas.com
stumbled onto this. seems like a nice cheap bauhaus alternative. interesting color face choices for you salmon watch lovers out there...

Chrono white
Functional, aesthetic, and robust as well as high quality - without showing off. Large indexes ensure optimum readability. The outer bezel is reminiscent of outdoor measuring instruments. The double-domed sapphire crystal provides optimal scratch resistance, a clear view, and a sophisticated...www.sternglas.com
this is fucking gorgeous.
RL is one of the very few brands which I would buy clothes from RTW, but these fashion brands have to stop stepping into horology. Doing a bit of everything will unfailingly make you terrible at some things. Stick to what you are good at...![]()

PASS!
They have outsourced watches to a co venture with Richemont. I think we safely say Richemont understand luxury watches.RL is one of the very few brands which I would buy clothes from RTW, but these fashion brands have to stop stepping into horology. At the price their watches retail, I would buy JLC straight away. At 17k, you could find a MUT in rose gold...
Hideous isn’t it, the way it sits there in no man’s land. They could have done away with the date/window.
