Cop Tyranny Thread

I don't know who this guy is, but he has a wealth of information on what he calls a surveillance state transitioning to a police state. Did you know the Dept of Education has it's own swat team? They raid people's houses over loans. There's a guy in jail right now for 17 days because his lawn was too long.

Everyone should hear this.

Baltimore retaliates.

Imagine the money that could be saved by shooting looters on sight. Decreased public assistance paid out, decreased legal system costs, decreased law enforcement costs, insurance rates decrease, etc....

Of course, that's just heartless.

OMG what an unbelievable bitch. Meter maids are some of the worst scum of the earth.

Destroy businesses that pay for the public services these "protesters" constantly need, not the best way to help the "cause"

Ironically a known drug dealer is now a martyr .

It's the modern black victimization culture. Whatever happens, label it racist.

Unfortunately, the rioters have a valid point: policing is out of control and nobody is stopping the abuse. But black kids like these are horrible social burdens, so they don't have 2 legs to stand on trying to make a statement about the problem.

Rodney King started the phenomena of filming the police... 20 years later we're still seeing cop tyranny, and it's actually getting worse which tells me the camera isn't helping. What that means is all these videos are no more than documentation of the problem.

I believe if the behavior of the general inner city blacks changed, the police's attitude towards them may also change. It's essentially an arms race in which the civilian population becomes more aggressive and constantly expresses the "fuck the police and disobey authority" attitude, the more brutal police will become. It's a bubble that eventually will burst and one side will lose. Sadly in this case, the blacks will have a very difficult time engaging sympathy from the rest of the population nationally and internationally via the actions they have displayed.

when young minds are watching their parents looting, burning, and destroying properties without any regard of the law will simply emulate such actions. Sooner they will be the next generation to fill the prisons of America just like their relatives that came before them.

Heard an interesting piece of information on talk radio yesterday. Before the Mike Brown riot, the average home price in Ferguson was ~ 70k. Six months later, it dropped to ~30K, and currently it's ~20k. These communities aren't destroyed by one bad cop, but from within.

I forget where I read it, but somebody made the point that this lunacy of highlighting the cases of police brutality that involve black felons is the wrong way to make the point. The imbecile protestors act like "racism" is the problem, and ignore the real problem. The right wing looks at it and says, well don't be a criminal and you'll be fine. And a legitimate pressing issue gets squelched by idiots at both ends.

my hometown has a race riot about once a decade. After the one in the eighties, the city made an effort to incent major businesses to move into the ghetto. Most of the ones who came burned in the nineties riot and left. The one that stuck around decided to build a fence around the building and was rewarded with two weeks of protest against the "racist fence". Ironically enough, it wasn't touched in the 00's riot.

Enjoy your impending food desert, Baltimore.

The truth is these populations are indeed destroying themselves from within. The arms race with police does exist. And felons are being used as poster-children for protestation. Anyone on the other side of the argument will point the finger strait at the criminal card. It's no win.

Coupled with all this, the best black America can do with their "leaders" is guys like Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. Forget Obama, he's Lilly white, he wants no part of this shit.

With "general inner city blacks" as Pauly Chase Pauly Chase has now coined them, it all starts with the breeding problems of fatherless children. Solve that, you start to see traits society values emerge.

More topical: as long as cop tyranny is focused on a bunch of black felons, the real problem won't be clear. This thread is filled with cop assholes at traffic stops, public gatherings, and just everyday life run-ins with abusive petty power cops.

Just saw this as a part of a headline:

'They dishonored Freddie's legacy'

Legacy of drug dealing, multiple arrests, and convictions.

"Those Kids Were Set Up"

I was at a stoplight in front of Frederick Douglass High School and directly across from Mondawmin Mall. It was exactly 3 p.m. The mall was on lockdown. There were police helicopters flying overhead. The riot police were already at the bus stop on the other side of the mall, turning buses that transport the students away, not allowing students to board. They were waiting for the kids. As I sat at the intersection of Gwynns Falls, I saw several police cars arriving at the scene. I saw the armored police vehicle arrive. Those kids were set up, they were treated like criminals before the first brick was thrown.

Bear these facts in mind too, every day hundreds of kids leave Frederick Douglass and walk across the street and through the mall to catch the buses on the far side of the mall. Their school releases at about 2:25.

I just wish people could recognize how insane this would be if their kids were released from school to buzzing police helicopters, police in riot gear, and their child being prevented from taking transportation home. It would be a national outrage.
