So I saw this;

Then I noticed this comment at the end,

I was a bit skeptical because of the name but decided to check it out and well i was welcome with this horror

I decided after this to drink tea with polonium.

Shame. That's actually a nice look if it weren't for the dead bird to chest.
youre referring to the fact thats hes wearing a summer suit in winter? the ill proportioned lapels and strange button placement on the jacket? the frumpy unpressed pants that are way too long? the cheap looking blue tierack tie? the ring to finger? the fugly (chelsea?) boots? and whats the deal with the christmass tree?

Could be South of the Equatpr. Somewhere tropical or somewhere bacward weather. But I agree. A properly dressed Australiyan wears tweed in December. Period

What if it is fucking Christmas in Nairobi?

OMFG!!! You people are soooo fucking critical!!!

But you can't argue that the rest looks fine.

Tip for Arnathor Arnathor : put a wire in the edges of your pocket squares, so the igent needn't worry about his parrot dying.

Pretty much.

If he didn't have the sweater he might actually look a decent size. He comes across very fat when layering.

Here is Koala once again in an outfit that has spawned great discussion on SF due to Koala not liking the fact that people are not loving his outfits. View this one in concert with the flatcap, sweater, scarf abortion & the one from the meat section of the supermarket.

Couple of things. First, this is another abortion. Top half of a three piece suit and odd trousers.

Second thing. He is away from home. Now, it's over the holidays, and he works from home so most likely not a business trip.

Maybe I'm the strange one because there is no fucking way that if I'm going to visit family for the holidays I'm not dragging along flat caps and tweed. This clown is from Texas. He's walking around like this for the fun of it?

Again, maybe it's me but he says he is living out of a suitcase and he stuffs this stuff into it for his trip?

Serious question: what do you all wear when you are not working? Are you all like Butler and lounge about in Hitchcock bespoke looking like country squires? Even the best fitting odd jacket is still not comfortable or practical for truely casual pursuits.

Again, I am at a loss given what I think is casual and then I see the current vogue of people looking like extras from How Green Was My Valley:

I get that Eric is about the clothing business

...and Tom the Coal Miner is too

But suddenly argyle sweaters and flat caps define what people wear when they are not working?

Cold and blustery - yes I know it is SF - but does not cold and blustery call for a jacket or coat or at least buttoning up against the elements? Nope, not for UrbanConsumption. His argyle must be dripping with lanolin to protect him

At least we know we can get flat caps from Tommy Blacklung and a shot of whiskey to chase the chill away
