I semi-regularly check this site and specifically this page and I still haven't figured out if everyone here is insane or just can't speak English.

Indeed. I wonder what the Chinese version of Crompers's name is. They are very revealing, those Chinese name. They have a single word for all countries in Europe, for instance, and it more or less means "barbarians". Officially, they use made-up names, which is part of their millennia-old game of shadows.

Now, in re Those Shoulders, and in re padding, you'd need three-inch thick padding, at least.

They are an extremely important and exclusive menswear house from Asia. Otherwise Crompton would not be involved. Crappy shoulders and five fittings are par for the course when you only pay a couple of grand for one of their jackets.

I notice the number of postings on Cromptons sites remains high. He must be paying somebody to bump up the numbers.

The name is the closest English approximation for an old Korean phrase which roughly translates as

Crompton has one of the worst collection of physical defects combined in one body.
Milk bottle shoulders, hollow back with big blades, big bum and wide hips. He would not have made it in Sparta.
You can deal with most defects, but that kind of weak shoulders is the worst, as you have nothing to let the jacket hang from.
And whoever thinks it's a good idea to photograph him in front of a background with prominent horizontal lines deserves to be shot.

His entire so-called blog is about showing himself off. It has long ceased to be a review. And haven't they all?

Also, Crompers is either hopping mad or hopelessly idiotic if he willingly pays £1700 for a jacket made remotely by tailors who outsource their fitter. The man must be shitting money. Again, we come back to the fundamental problem: too much money to burn.

He also seems to have a new bespoke commission almost every week. Bottomless budget, ever expanding wardrobe ... it’s like the watch guys who have thirty watches or more. Thousands and thousands of pounds / dollars sitting gathering dust in a drawer cos you can only wear one at a time.
 
The largest Korean community in the world outside of Korea is just down the road from me in New Malden. They have decent scoff in their restaurants and I have never knowingly had dog. All orientals were hard pressed to find food at times. Hence they would traditionally eat anything that moves.

Nice polite people, big on Christianity. Hymn singing at the roundabout on Sundays. A few at the local Methodist church.

It has the largest North Korean defector population in Europe. It does not have the largest population of Koreans outside of Korea in the world.
