Disagreeable Menswear Post Of The Day

Hello all, first post and as I said in my presentation, it would be often here that you’d read me.
Today is pic from well known french forum dpec... the jacket is totally too short and not appropriate with this pant!

Ditch the lavender shirt
Jacket too short and tight at the waist and hips
Shoes too pointy, look like canoes and seems like there's a meter of empty space at the toe cap
Pants do not hang well and with your shoe size you should wear a larger leg opening

It is not. Despite this terrible mistake (and I forgive you haha) I must agree with you, there is nothing going right with his outfit.
 
Dr Edelsten definitely deserves to be here. He also love dating girls 50 years his junior! He is also a fan of huge boobs.

The boring truth is that a fair proportion of these menswear 'rules' came about to stop you looking like a cretin.

I suppose the skill lies in separating these 'rules' from the basically meaningless ones repeated ad nauseam online by suit scientists and washed-up Instagram hacks.

When you place his outfits side by side, what really stands out is the shapelessness. I'm all for soft tailoring, but these jacket looks like they've been through the wash. The City jocks in their RTW TM Lewin at Pret A Manger in Cheapside look far better.

Dear old Cheapside. A lot of new drinking establishments, since I worked there. A ski shop in the shopping centre too. Sadly the cabbies caff In Gresham Street - Piccolo Bar - does not offer the hot food menu after 4pm
