I’m pretty sure all these ‘influencers’ are aspiring to make a living out of their bullshit and many would have registered companies they can use to write off expenses going to a Pitti trade show.

Been looking at Ron Howard’s Beatles doco “8Days A Week” I think it is. For some nostalgia/research + Ms. Fxh was at the melbourne concert. And there’s footage of it as Channel 9 at the time filmed one concert. Howard uses some of the footage.

And was I thinking how good, cool, and almost {{ I hate myself for this word}} timeless cuban heels look. Although I noticed some of the beatle boots had pointed toes, a seam down middle of boot vamp and were zip up and well over the ankle. Looked great with those skinny, but not tight, straight trousers on those cute mop top kids.

I was watching the Stooges doco recently and admiring Iggy’s Densons. I’d like a pair of side-zip Cuban heels with a chisel toe for office wear and narrower trousers.

But generally I think a woodsman heeled engineer boot gives the same profile though a bit less extreme and a lot more comfort. If I didn’t live in Texas, a western boot with a more rounded toe might appeal more.

Cuban heels no good on the taller gent. I did notice that John Lennon had some cool looking striped shirts in the documentary.

Cubans are best on tall, slim guys. Short guys look like they are compensating and fatties just look weird. Woodsman heels are a little more forgiving for the heigh and weight challenged.
 
Never taken to leather jackets. I associate them with two horrid things: (i) the stepfather of a school chum who was abused by him and (ii) a sinister greasy haired math teacher who wore his as uniform as some kind of Nazi regalia back in the 80s.

As for Crompters, it definitely doesn't work and he could have said all he had to say in one short paragraph of three sentences.

What better way to make a living after giving up his tenured professorship than being a sommelier. Peterson breaks the first rule of fancy dining there, never dress in the manner someone may mistake you for one of the waiters.

I think the suffix 'by the age of four' is what makes the statement rather icky. Not that I care for Peterson and his ilk or what he peddles -a big portion of which is just 'basic' but is lorded as if he has discovered the fifth ,sixth and laws of thermodynamics when it is just rehashed self-help stuff.

He does make a salient, if basic, point: parents preparing their children for the travails of the real world in all its facets which I suppose includes mate selection. There are frankly a lot of big babies from age 40 and downwards out there.

It’s icky and, looking at his son there, maybe he would have done better to raise him to find self worth and esteem inside himself and not on his marketability as a playmate. Because you know that kid is dying an incel!
 
Is his son, the chap he is with in the photo above? I confess I don't know much about his familial life. I also am puzzled as to why Jordan Peterson is so popular.

It’s actually a „proven, scientific fact“ (TM) (at least for those considering psychology a science) that if you aren’t socialized enough to play with other kids by the age of four, or more specifically, get invited by others to play, this will not happen anymore at all. I‘m sure our resident psychologist Sartodi Napoli Sartodi Napoli or belinmad belinmad can give us more information.
