Some of the Eidos stuff looks nice but some of it, such as the checked shirt-jacket with the mis-matched pocket patterns that we've previously discussed, looks pretty bad.

This, I think, falls firmly into the latter category:

Well, he is wearing a pair of casual chino pants, so it's reasonable for them to be a bit baggier and more crumpled than more formal, business trousers. Of course, that then begs the question as to why he's wearing a pair of double monks with casual trousers...

Look at the mismatched sleeves of the bloody shirt and the poor pattern alignment on the right sleeve head. Probably made in Bangladesh.

I like the concept of that shirt, but not the fabric choice. Would be great for beach holidays.

It's $250 though, which is ridiculous.

I'm still here, happy to call stuff out if I don't like it though. I think pkl is pretty much on the money though as to who could wear it but still I'm not a big fan of the colours

antonio's 'i'm saving menswear' posts are ridiculous, pompous and totally absurd. can't take the guy serious after that

Yeah, those posts where a bit silly. What was he thinking? That people would commend him for being their saviour?

Nevertheless, Eidos is one of the few brands in that price class that's not pushing the short/skinny look.

caruso? haven't checked them out last few seasons, but they were always pretty decent.
 
I love caruso stuff, fits me very well. Just doesn't seem to be all that accessible outside of EU apart from old season stuff on ebay

He's going to say whatever it takes to make sales, and that's part of what he's getting paid for. Ever heard someone in charge of a brand say his brand sucks in the media? Of course not, because they'd get fired.

It's your job as an intelligent(?) consumer to look through the bullshit marketing.

isn't it sold at one of the shops crompton keeps posting about? and in holland it's really easy to find and lots of the normal patterns and plains also go on sale
