That's one of the buttons of his double-breasted jacket, which he is wearing un-buttoned because most of his DB jackets are excruciatingly tight so he has to undo them when he wants to be able to move.

Shit, I didn't even realize that was a DB. Thought it was a SB the way he was wearing it.
 
^Yes, that's because it's so tight that even when it's unbuttoned, you don't see the excess fabric at the front that you'd normally see with an unbuttoned DB jacket.
