Solidifies Shaq as a douchebag.
^Damn, that's hideous. Why on earth would you want a fishtank like that in your house?
With regard to "it's not what you drive, it's how you drive it", some years back I was coming back from an MX-5 club day up on a mountain outside the city where I live. It was a road that I'd driven quite a few times before, so I knew it well and felt confident driving pretty fast on it.
About a quarter of the way down, I realised that there was a Ferrari 360 coming down the road behind me at quite a clip. He caught up to me on the straight but then I pulled away from him through the corner, and we played that game all of the way down the mountain - I'd be faster, quite a lot faster, through the corners but then he'd easily catch me on the straights but then lose me at the next corner and then catch up to me on the next straight.
At the bottom of the mountain, I pulled over at a picnic area to have a drink of water and the Ferrari driver pulled over, too. He came over to me and started telling me about how amazed he was that my car could pull away from his through the corners and that he didn't think that a little old Mazda could do that. I recommended that he attend a few driver training days or track days so that he could get a feel for the way that his car handled, so that he would know its limits and feel comfortable pushing the car without pushing it too far. After all, driving well is generally not about having lots of power - it's about knowing how the car you are driving handles and how to get the most out of it.
This stretching of capabilities by electronic trickery is insidious because it allows the driver to naively wander past the proper safe handling zone and not know it until they are in way too deep. Old cars gave plenty of warning when you were nearing limits, just by the obvious visceral cues of the systems. It gives a treacherous feel of safety
Another fun observation is that automatic transmissions cannot follow as closely in stop and go traffic, because they rather "leap" forward when released from braking and a larger space buffer must be kept.
Speaking of Ferraris, there is a F50 on sale on eBay. 1.5mil. Someone baller cop.
Spoo that baller?
Saw a Saleen S7 parked inside Bentley GoldCoast this weekend. Amazing. For a car that is almost a decade old, and it outshined the Aventador and the Vitesse Veyron
I still would buy the RR Phantom just because of the space, class, and luxury.
Cell phones take care of that for you. People have no idea how much those large gaps add to traffic.
I heart some Saleen.
You really can't do a RR unless you have your own chauffeur. I mean, driving your own RR just looks ridic.
A-fucking-men dude. Phones need to be disabled in vehicles. Used to be you would see some jackass swerving and driving five under the speed limit and you would be like "Oh the dudes drunk". Now it's like '"Damn this motherfucker is texting."
I'm telling you man, driving a Bentley or RR saloon on your own is gonna make you look silly.RR is just simply elegant, much better looking than the Bentley Mulsanne for the price point. Wish I was baller to drop 400k on a car.
There is some crossover with the Continental V8 maybe, but the GT3-R is a pretty much it's own segment right now. All the higher spec Continental's are W12 engines too.
W12 is a bit too much for daily traffic. If I buy the R-spec, would hit up the track every weekend.
I think this channel on Youtube is great and I think this is a stand out video as far as it goes. The sound of the engine is insane. What I wouldn't give for a few laps around this circuit with this fine early example from Ferrari.
Now I am the most died in the wool F series fan ever, but this has gotten absurd, not just with Ford, but all of these pickups.
How America’s truck, the Ford F-150, became a plaything for the rich - The Washington Post
Too cheap forMonkeyface 's land owner friends in S America.
For the rest of us, 60k for a truck? It better have 18 wheels.

Good luck. My newest lowboy was quarter of a mill. Hell, the damn dump trucks are 125k.
Exactly... is the F150 really worth 1/2 and 1/4 that price??

It is when it's a raptor!
I think the Raptors are fun trucks, but you can blow away their performance with a much smaller cash outlay. My bog trucks would destroy those things.

Elite Redneck.
Not a landowner, though.
