Great Cars

This McLaren 675LT is one sick piece of hardware.

Love this video. This Merc really could be the most bulletbroof car ever made. As the guy interviewed states, every part on the car was over-sized. My dad had a 240 back then, and he ended up giving it to a charity almost 20 years ago and they still use it daily. On a few occasions it's crossed my mind to acquire one, but eh, classics, even when bulletproof are still a pain in the ass.

i love to look at older cars
but still
i often dont see myself driving one
i'd maybe drive a 993 convertible which i'd keep near my summer home

out of the contemporary cars i really like the audi a7
the design is spot on to me

i also love the mb g
even though it is a bit vulgar
due to the people driving it

I wanted a G for eons, but the amount of douche bags driving them have finally made the association so bad I just couldn't do it.

At the risk of turning this thread into a thread dedicated almost solely to Petrolicious videos, this is great:

Not only a great car, but I also enjoyed the commentary from the owner, too.

"I love things that were designed for a purpose, like a tool. Except this is a fast tool that scares the crap out of me."

"There's a lot of theatre to this car... when you shift into fifth, it makes this sort of Millenium Falcon hyperspace "Whiiiizzz" kind of noise... It's like wrapping yourself in a blanket of noise."

Edited to add: Damn, I just realised that he owns a Lancia Stratos, too, and that Petrolicious filmed that as well.

Great video, the guy made a mistake though for what I understood. The 037 went head to head against the mighty Audi Quattro and it did beat it, it was the only two wheel drive car to actually beat it. Also he has an insane car collection, I saw a Stratos and a M1.

Yes, the last two-wheel-drive car to win the World Rally Championship, if I remember correctly.
