Very true, but nothing else in the title describing what we're trying to do here. I'm going to leave it for another day or so and see how people think it looks. Nothing permanent, obviously.
 
I think its time to get away from 'Everything Else' as a forum name. Either break it up into a new forums, or at least rename it. Thoughts?

Missed this. Might do well to break it up into more forums and populate with similar threads EG. Happy today, pissed off, neither pissed nor happy.....Same with TV, Movies etc. shouldn't all about eyewear be in men's clothing (and accessories)

If that is too much work rename it.
 
I'm trying out some a new navy blue color instead of the green for the title bar and some of the spaces around the forum. What do you guys think?

So that makes the area I have with the purple-y looking blue a black color and changes the buttons and the forum navigation bar into navy blue. You like it looking like that, or you want it to stay with the navigation colors I have now and just the top user bar to be the other navy blue?
 
There looks to be a viable way for me to get separate buttons for the spoiler, quote, and strikethrough. Anyone interested in this, or are we satisfied with the dropdown all-in-on button?
 
Ok, I've redone the editor bar to have separate strike-through, quotes, and spoiler button. And got rid of the code option.

The spoiler button looks like the flag, and the rest are self explanatory.
 
Also added in a new Go To Top/Go To Bottom combination button. I'm still fucking around with the settings on this, so let me know if its causing you problems. Also, what color you'd like it to be.
 
Yep. The size of the mobile button needs to be increased slightly and the size of the desktop needs to be decreased. Also, a different color.

This is seriously a good function though. Only one other forum I use has it, which I find mind boggling.
 
I see that we now have "last edited" display. I guess you get invisible editing for a few minutes??

I finally got it to show above. It looks like an edit done either after a followup post or five minutes gets the visible "last edited" time stamp.

Oh I know what you're talking about now. Not necessarily invisible, but the system just doesn't register it for a minute or two. For those who immediately notice an issue.
 
There are a few new features for the forum with the software update and I wanted to point out a couple real quickly:

New Quote Partial Text System: This replaces the old QUOTEME bubble feature for quoting text snippets. If you select a portion of text to copy, the box will popup and you can choose whether to just quote the portion of the text or add the portion to the multi-quote system so that you can inline quote it along with other posts/snippets. Here's what the popup box looks like:

New Online Status Indicator: This just shows you if someone's online via their avatar. Notice the little green tab in the upper left corner of the avatar. That means they're online.
