Agreed, if you're going bespoke don't go too short. What's the point? You can get that anywhere, albeit not in the cloth and other specifications your want or the house style. You instantly kill it by going short.

I agree with letting him do his thing. He is clearly very good at evaluating the tastes of his clients. Because my jackets are long and loose with plenty of chest drape and some extension and even padding. He clearly saw you as young skinny sexy and stylish boy with a women in sartoria.

I see a giacca of tailor Giuseppe Uccello at master's atelier. Never heard of him but the tag on the giacca seemed legit neapolitan. If you go around looking at the doorways you'll see a lot of "Sartoria..." you've never heard of. I don't know for whom these tailors work, but surely there are some jewels out there.
