Nor do I, per say. But Im gonna go out on a limb and say that when EFV put up this thread and took the time and effort to take and post so many pictures, it was not his burning hope and desire that people would come to comment that, "Zomg those cats looks like clowns! I must be the first to have noticed this!"

Reasonable critique is ok, but I have never seen one that has not been stated before. As has been said, it is what it is, and either you like/appreciate it, and want to talk about the various aspects of the show, and what you liked or disliked, or you just dont like it at all.

Anyways, Id go in a heartbeat.

This. And so well said. I actually wanted to add to the end of my previous post, regarding a Pitti discussion/appreciation thread, and a Pitti hate thread, lets see which one becomes obsolete first. But I felt like that was a dick comment. You said it much nicer. Nicely done, Leaves.

So basically you can discuss this but only if you like what they are wearing or want to circlejerk.

I think they want some creativity in the negative comments and then they will react negatively to that.

It has all Been said before and now that they have saved menswear it is even more wrong to slag them.

No. Did they make a lot of people discover reggae? Yes. Was Vanilla Ice the greatest rapper that ever lived? No. Did he make a lot of people discover rap? Yes. You know where I’m going with this. Take a guy like Luca Rubinacci, just imagine how many people that has gotten into classic menswear just because of that single person. Tens of thousands probably. Imagine the amounts of revenue those people are now creating in the industry. Envision the snow ball effect on those thousands and their friends. Same goes for Lino, Lapo, Roberto “Raro” to mention a few. You can’t just have guys in bespoke navy and charcoal bespoke suits representing #menswear, that’s doom. It’s an industry, not a club for old farts sitting around discussing how everything was better back in the day. An industry that does not evolve will die, and classic menswear was on life support a few years ago, now it’s going through a renaissance. In no small part due to the “peacocks”.

Jasper's also the editor for the new SF newsletter which I haven't seen. The SWD people like his writing so Fok's been hiring him to go to every Pitti. For some reason they waited till now, ironically with the presence of Hood By Air, to inform him he dresses like a fuccboi (the word is as awful as what it means).

Here he is on the right, unsurprisingly he looks to be 17 years old:

LL

Fok may only dress marginally better, self-described as cowboy and indian, but is wise enough to prevent people publishing his fits. This stupid idea that anyone can do and wear whatever they want under the guise of self-expression is another symptom of a world consumed by nihilism and narcissism.

well jAsper boi here is a fine example of fokkenführers great emereken streetwear culture

Italians, contrary to popular opinion, generally have terrible taste, particularly in "streetwear". I am going to write about this, but I think that a lot of it stems from the fact that garments like jeans have no historical context in Italy, and so it's easier for high street brands and mid-market designers to be lazy. That combined with the fact that everyone cares. I saw several knit duffle sportcoats, not worn by Pitti attendees, but worn by regular Italian guys, last week. In the US, these guys would have just worn a Patagonia fleece and some chinos.

Sarto got dumped on as soon as he posted. They really need to throw in the Appreciation into the title..

Was Jasper home-schooled? SRSLY, EVERYBODY who ever wore new white shoes to school knew that they would get dirty within seconds. Does he carry them in a special bag when he's on the street? Protective gaiters for outdoor use? Does he even go outside?

Jasper? Sounds like another Yankee named after the pet dog.

Jasper humps Fok's leg in return for tickets to Pity. Good boy. SIT!

My last post on SF;

The igent chain watch as if they were Bertrand Rusell on his Savile Row real suits. Note a true gentleman and a privileged mind vs the opposite, people who just imitate others ( see the thumbs upper wearing "shoes" that only Mr thumbs up would and do wear). What was i telling? Sheeps? And sorry to say again, who on their sane mind, would try to imitate a person who is the icon of the bad taste, oh wait, another bad taster, did i asked sane mind, oh ok ,sorry i got it.

The guy on the brown glasses seems to have a mismatched pattern on each leg, i am sure he did it that way for that reason. This people should be banned from 1 km away, and sorry for it, but are my honest thoughts and as well are of the main industry who don´t want to have this people anymore around.

The jacket, not only is ridiculous( what they purpose, but is poorly made, what is intolerable) The shoes, can´t be called shoes. The guy in red has all the in 2014 fashion igent garments, bracelets, side chain, no socks, cross between past Lino editions shoes vs. Lucky Luke ones, strong color socks, too tall shirt collar, fisherman´s beard, a tie chosen by a daltonic person, a suit with a fabric stolen from the sofa of the first house we rent on 1978, also psychodelic solar lenses, and a leather bag that seems another in fashion garment.
Also is copying from another one, Luca, fabrics with ancient maps, see the vest and not sure if also the tie.

No comment on this, do not want to have my stomach revolved and you know my opinion about.

My veredict; GUILTY!!!

To the untrained eye, yes. Rarity does kind of resemble me. Just a little more...frilly.

she would fit right in at Pitti Uomo.

Wow. Never would have imagined that's Synthese. Someone in SW&D waywt made a comment aht Synthese should be a model long time ago, and from that picture, definitely not model material (no homo)
