Pitti 87

I sometimes wonder whether Fok/LA Guy actually thinks that anyone should have an opinion on anything - or, at least, that no-one should have an opinion that differs from his own opinions.

From the Pitti thread on SF - there were pictures of women posted and some of them looked good, some of them didn't look so good.

Some criticisms/opinions were voiced.

Fok said:

Not every outfit is really my cuppa, but some of the silhouettes (see 4) are interesting. Honestly, from the comments on this thread, some of you guys most only enjoy the missionary position or something.

SF member akoustas responded:

If you're putting so much effort into and outfit and going around a fashion event you're putting yourself up to criticism. If they were on the street I probably wouldn't even notice.

I'd say quite the opposite, I'm not exactly for garments that mask the feminine shape. It's quite possibly the finest feature they have over a guy in terms of variability of outfits and interest. 4 would be fine I guess but mega wide trousers take away any and all shape and make her look bigger, which for a casual or wearable outfit like this (not an art piece) doesn't really make much sense.

Fok then said:

That it doesn't make sense to you says something about you, and hardly anything about the woman. Wide legged trousers can be very attractive, and it only masks the shape of the body for someone who really lacks imagination. I mean, there are valid criticisms of many of these outfits, but that one is just silly.

Umm, if you have to use your imagination, something has been masked.

I look forward to Fok's explanation as to how a burka can be very attractive and how it only masks the shape of the body for someone who really lacks imagination.

Anyway, I decided to put forward my thoughts on SF's coverage of Pitti, particularly in relation to my opinion of the "gonzo journalism" style of coverage that they've adopted over the past few events and how I feel that it's not as good, interesting or informative as their earlier coverage of Pitti:

It will be interesting to see what, if anything, eventuates.

Alright, enough Schmucko bashing. Get back to bashing the freshly circumcized penis Tiraleur.

I've had a fairly hilarious running email conversation with whoever is running Put this On about how silly it was to put him up there.

Dude called me the Queen of England, lol.

I have to go into my webmail since I sent it from my general internet throwaway account I use for webforms and the like. Keeps spam at bay in my regular acct. Kind of a pain to cut and paste and I don't have but a few cookies allowed on my work machine.
