Sartorial Stories In The News

What does it means? btw I edited my prior post to add more data.
Sartodii Napoli can now be regarded as one of the most influential and important menswear posters of the 21st. century. He has created a new style of writing based upon the stream of unconsciousness technique: when the written form attempts to mimic a character's immediate flow of unthoughts and unfeelings, adding a heightened sense of unrealism to the pot of tea.

If you do not understand the meaning, you can continue licking hairy butts in your closest train station WC as you do.:ahahahaha:

Thank you Ms Twigg. Male insecurity in middle age is perennial fodder for the tabloids:

Total rubbish.
Agreed. There are some good and not so good examples in this thread: https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/over-50-wearing-leather-jackets.101020/

I do think there is a significant difference in the impression of an older guy in an older, well worn jacket versus an old guy in a brand new leather jacket. the former looks like he’s just been wearing the same thing over a life of adventures and the latter does risk the midlife crisis vibe until it breaks in a bit.

Hey, I have no dog in this fight. I just found the article (and the joyful comments) amusingly interesting.

I personally don't wear 'leather' jackets but I do own three suede jackets and a suede gilet (so I guess I sorta do ) which I enjoy wearing but wear less and less as I find it a pain to maintain.

Not a controversial take, Ceteris Paribus, but the single greatest thing a man of older age (and any age) has to do to elevate his 'style' is to to be fit/ not fluffy/ fat etc. Period.

interesting thread - apparently Lids purchased Ebbets Field clothing and now their quality has gone to shit. some of you still wear SWD so I thought you might be interested. comments are worth a read.

I have 1 EF hat from years ago and the quality is top notch. I am talking 15+ years ago. All/most of my Mets/team hats are PURCHASED from Lids...but they are made by New Era...so I'm not worried.

But I will check the comments later.

The Shooman The Shooman , doghouse doghouse etc - be careful out there!!

Black Panther , PhD, drug fiend Huey Newton: account of the beating of his tailor, Preston Callins, allegedly over the price of a suit.

"Newton returned to the room with a .357 magnum, walked up to where Callins was seated, and suddenly whacked him across the head with the pistol. Blood shot everywhere. Newton whacked Callins on the other side of his head. Then he told Callins he was going to shoot him. ... He hit Callins again. Then he hit him again, knocking him to the floor. Then he kicked Callins in the mouth. ... Bleeding profusely, Callins managed to stumble out of the penthouse into the hallway. Newton followed him, this time with a new gun, because the grips of the first gun had broken on Callins' skull. ... There was blood in the hallway, blood all over Newton's apartment."

There is little doubt that the incident happened (Callins was hospitalized, and Newton was later brought to trial for the beating)

What the fuck.

Newton assaulted his tailor, Preston Callins, after Callins called him "Baby" -a childhood nickname he hated, Newton posted bond after being arrested for pistol-whipping Callins.

Those articles that are internet name throwers all the time do smell to the other unforum...

What is the nick of the writer there...seems suspicious.

why don't you actually read the article? the writer's name is at the top of the article.

This is a good piece on Naples tailoring

Good but not terribly representative of the wealth of sartorial talent in that city
