^I thought I read that Buttigieg had pulled out of the race?
Or was that another candidate?

Pete Buttigieg tops new Iowa poll of Democratic presidential hopefuls
Sen. Elizabeth Warren and former Vice President Joe Biden followed the Indiana mayor.www.nbcnews.com
"The moderate mayor supported by 25 percent of respondents was followed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts with 16 percent; former Vice President Joe Biden, 15 percent; Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, 15 percent; and Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, 6 percent."
Blimey, Biden is tied for 3rd with Sanders now.

^Not really saying anything new about her campaign, as the lack of any real focus or direction has been plain for quite some time. I suppose it's different in that it's coming from a (former) staffer, rather than from political commentators.
for our UK readers. make sure to get out and vote labour

I don't think anyone can unreservedly support Labour when they are trailing in the polls with Corbyn at the helm even though the Tories made the whole Brexit mess with Cameron and has with repeated elections and leaders continued to disappoint.
i happen to know quite a bit about him and that is why i am promoting him. i suppose you want johnson to win and sell off the NHS to the americans then? maybe vote for your girl jo swinson? i heard she's dropping out because her campaign has been such a disaster. If you knew anything about Corbyn, you wouldn't be promoting him.

Indeed, the Tories in May created the mess, but Labour is not the answer. The Conservatives got the Brits into it and it is their duty to restore honour to get us out away from the rapidly failing EU.
very true. still, i have to make an effort i suppose. futile as it might be.Mr. Smith voted Leave. He would never support a party that wants to Remain. Besides he has already given up NHS. Whether it is farmed out to Romanians, Asians, or Americans he has access and will encourage his relations to use private health care.

well there's something we have in common - the quick death of all middle management and the entirety of the PMC in the medical field. You know nothing of the NHS or the extremely snobbish elite management class, nor how the surgeons and specialists run private clinics and play the game very well to push patients to go private to beat waiting lists. It's a racket and hence the cancer survival rates and other treatments rank very poorly against Western European countries that have insurance systems e.g. France, Netherlands, Germany, et al. The sad state of affairs is that all political parties have put the NHS on a pedestal where the only reform or innovation is to throw more money at it, where it is immediately snorted up by fat cat managers and their cronies.
this is thin, even for you. i'm surprised you didn't go in on the antisemitism bullshit. Many men have sold their souls for vast kingdoms and wealth, but Corbyn sold his soul to fraternise with terrorists who thought that much of him not one of them mentions him as being any kind of player in the peace process, despite Corbyn's boast and of course his gig on Iranian television. The pathetic soiled existence and reputation of an ageing communist tramp. In the words of Del Boy: What a plonker!

Once again not a single shred of evidence of him actually being antisemiticAnd that's why we say to you: They shall not pass.
And we will seek them out behind the rocks and the liars they hide in.
Douglas Murray nails it once again:
Labour's anti-Semitism shame must never be forgiven | The Spectator
Sometime around the start of this decade, before anti-Semitism was as cool as it has become, I was standing on a stage in London with a couple of rabbis and a Muslim. And if that sounds like the start of a joke then what followed wasn’t. We were there at the request of a new Jewish group to...blogs.spectator.co.uk

again, i'm not the ground there, but i have seen absolutely no evidence of this or any other antisemitism from these people. i'm sure something has happened somewhere at some point. but we're exactly talking about them being rife with nazi sympathizers here.Corbyn, is at the very least an enable of it.

Bad taste by Corbyn, perhaps. Offensive to Israelis, perhaps. But anti-Semitic?
Corbyn's party's anti-Semitism is a manifestation of the the anti-Semitism of the Left. Neo-nazism is a manifestation of the anti-Semitism of the Right.
What anti-semitism is there on the "left"?Corbyn's party's anti-Semitism is a manifestation of the the anti-Semitism of the Left. Neo-nazism is a manifestation of the anti-Semitism of the Right.
Same question but for "international" left? What would you describe it as, the actions of a bigot or Magic Grandpa bringing both sides together like he did in Northern Ireland?
The international Left: those who embrace conspiracy theories that there's a jew behind, controlling and manipulating every disaster and event.
After the election these clowns need to be pushed out of polite society, the public purse and shamed and humiliated.

ah. well that tracks given his youtube viewing habits. In my experience, having spent quite a bit of time discussing and investigating conspiracy theories as I have a couple of friends who have disappeared far, far down the rabbit hole, it's people on the right, or a particular brand of libertarian, that embrace the conspiracy theories about Jews, George Soros, the Rothschilds and so on.
