The SF/AAAC/FNB trainwreck thread

it has to do with the database. huddler and xenforo run on separate database mechanisms so migrating them is a problem.
I suspect its just replicating/migrating the database/archive/pictures etc - it will take a week to do the first run then a week to fix it up

they should have done this ahead of time. fok's lying saying they did this three times in a trial run and it was fine every time.

Hi all,

We are busy fixing the forum!

Thank you for your patience, and please check back later!

Cheers,

The Styleforum team.

Fok should be glad SF is not PurseForum. They would have dragged him through the streets by now.

Going forward - as opposed to....?
"Going forward" is one of the most inane phrases in American-speak. It is especially prominent in political discourse; it is often used to distract from the matter at hand and to change the conversation.

One of the big bosses at my organisation recently used "going forward" and "optics" as in 'let's get a handle on the optics of it all' in the same sentence...

I just planted a bomb under his Mercedes. That should get him going forward...

Candidly, we changed platforms because our partners are sunsetting the other platform. Even more candidly we have kept a close eye on that useless fucker Rambo and his pathetic forum of tackies and losers over at "D*****well". If that bunch of idiots can even half operate the system, I thought , well we can make it work properly. And moniterise the hell out of the fucker by scraping a few cents of each B&S transaction. . No platform is perfect, and they all require a period of adjustment, because there are no two platforms with anywhere close to 1:1 function or feature parity. We choose xenforo because it is the most dynamic forum platform with a lot of addons and a large developer community, which means we can do more with out, Andre more responsive to the community."

Who wrote that?

Losers??? Sounds a bit rough.

Upward at least.

Is there a more overrated brand than Stoffa? The SF fanboys seem to cream themselves over it but who really wears $400 rollable felt hats and asymmetric suede jackets?

FTFY. And, yes, a thinly-veiled scheme for them and a bunch of other "shills who also happen to be tackies."
Couldn't agree with you more. Also, members tell newbies to buy NMWA stuff in most of the advice sections, indirectly obviously.

Their hats are overpriced, but their jackets are decent for the price. $800 for MtM suede ain't too bad. Trousers pretty decent too, $250 for MTM. It's about the same pricing as Luxire, except someone is doing the fitting in person and the manufacturer is more competent. Plus he comes into town every 4-6 weeks, which is much better than most traveling tailors.

I wish SF/Fok(er) would have the balls to allow users to comment on fits with no filters. All they do is thumb each other and they go on thinking there is nothing wrong with their fits.

When someone does start providing unfiltered feedback, SF mods and members go nuts.
