Think the grey should be lighter and not a fan of all the brim stitching.

And I sent the suit back over an hour ago, one of the MOP sleeve buttons was chipped and there was a bleach like stain on one of the shoulders.
 
Am I crazy for actually having considered buying this tie for a split second? Can't get more #menswear than this:

Pauly - I love those - I need a pair for my summer suits linen and cotton and non jacket linen combos. I really want some mesh shoes.

They proper canvas or suede and leather? What brand - vintage? Don't tell me they were affordable and fit you or I'll have to have a little lie down.
 
Cheaney handgrade. All leather. $100 dollars and they appear to be in excellent shape. Advertised 9D. So hopefully they fit.
 
Grabbed two Brooks Bros' pieces from the thrift shop for $28. Pink pinpoint shirt and a (i think) guncheck Fitzgerald jacket.

I like the pattern of the Gitman, but the collar points look much too short.

Then again, maybe it's just the angle of the photo.
 
IDK about Gitman Vintage, but I've had Gitman Bros' shirts, and the points are acceptably 'long'.
 
I tried them before, did not like the fabrics at all. Psycho bunny shirts are good, as long as you dont care for the bunny, fabric holds off pretty well, barely wrinkles and MOP buttons and somewhat a nice collar roll. I usually get them at Neuman Marcus for 30/40 dollars then just fix the sleeves for 15 dollars.
 
I've never handled GV, my buddy has one and the collar roll is on the small side from what I remember. My original GB shirt had decent rolls.

Cool bananas Pauly - I've never understood people who don't do their own laundry and ironing etc.

Now all you have to learn is the difference between pressing and ironing!

Not to mention the blown seams problem.

I figured no point of hitting the dry cleaners anymore since they have ruined a couple of my shirts. Besides I already hand wash my ninja gear anyways, a few more extra cotton shirts won't consume that much more time.
 
I have a great dry cleaner, even the regular laundry service they provide gives me great results and only $4 a shirt.
 
I went to the Visiting Nurses rummage sale in tony Far Hills, NJ today and got just what I really don't need. Ties. But they were $3 a pop. It was for charity...

Brooks ancient madder, NWT. As usual, capturing the color is hard. That magenta is really a deep maroon.

And one I'd never have gotten except for knowing the brand via FNB and this place insisting that brown ties are cool. Oddly, it's almost like the one that I pushed for as a site exclusive pattern here.

update: the Liberty of London one had a Bamberger's tag as well. That name hasn't been used since 1986. That's a testament to enduring quality and style there.

I was able to snag a pair of Carmina Jumpers in a brown hatchgrain off the B/S. Great boots and they wear well. Enjoy!
