Arrived via Ebay today. Vintage v-cleat Florsheim Imperials in a nice cherry cordovan.

Working on them right now to get that black polish outtathe creases. Going to look amazing.
 
From the ebay, I miraculously won these quasi-vintage Florsheim Imperials, not cordovan (pebble grain?), for a measly $40 shipped.

Arriving in the mail today, from the ebay, should be this RCA emblematic poly tie featuring Nipper in "His Master's Voice."

Nice finds, Argen. I don't know where to find deals like that. Spoo stuff is becoming very well known that the final prices are getting a bit high for my needs haha.
 
I'm sold on the deerbone. Arrived yesterday evening, and I've completely deerboned out a deep slice in the vamp of one of my cordo pairs. Like it was never even there. Tried w/ a spoon, wax, everything, and this took it out in like 20 minutes. :mercury:

Well, being Beltmaster, I was able to specify stitched edges and only one keeper. And there's a free shipping code, so $22 total! Cheaper than the reversible bonded leather department store detritus.

Ordered yesterday, don't have it yet. Seems to be a one man operation and the guy called to verify the order so the service is excellent.
I've heard that it's not luxury grade or anything but good honest stuff. I'm sick of this "genuine leather" bonded crap disintegrating on me . Being a 30" waist, it's hard to find anything at all, and then toss in wanting silvertone buckles with brown leather and it's unicorn hunting. MTO at this price level is a superb bargain.

I also finally got around to ordering the olive linen pocket square form etsy that I'm hoping solves my tweed coat dilemma.
 
Makes sense, especially at that price point. Will be interested to hear your opinion on it once it arrives.

Actually a little better than I was expecting.

First of all, the custom requests were all actually done right, which is rarely a given, so points for that. The color is a little more tan and less red than I'd hoped, but that's not a quality issue. The leather is, as I expected, good but nothing that great. It's hard to say much beyond that it seems to lack depth but is mercilessly free of glossy fake finishes. Here it is above the nine year old mystery belt it replaces.

The construction is very good, and the finishing is beyond expectations at this price point. Obviously nobody has been hand-finishing the holes or edges, but there isn't raw leather visible without really looking very hard either. Certainly no unsightly rough edges or any such shoddiness.

The backing is possibly the most impressive part with the decent material, the foil stamping and the fact that it exists at all. Also, I properly ignored that hooey about ordering your waist size plus two inches. Almost every store-bought belt I own is per that formula, and they are all too long. This is per waist size and it's spot on.
I ordered on Monday afternoon and it got here Friday, and there was a free shipping coupon. Overall, I'm quite pleased and the value and quality are beyond satisfactory for me.

Haven't bought much for a long time but got this in preparation for this winter. Needed a new insulation layer.

Nunatak Skaha front pocket model. 900+ down 8 ounces (3 oz. overfill). Pertex Quantum 0.8 oz./cubic inch. Total weight about 14 oz.

New. Scored it off Backpacking Light Gear Swap for about 50% of retail.

Killer products but only custom order so this was a rare catch.

Kind of under the mainstream radar. Niche market, more known for their down-filled quilts. Think they were one of the first to go the quilt route versus full sleeping bag.

Garment-wise up there with Feathered Friends & Western Mountaineering.
 
Do you actually have the phone?

I order two from the AT&T shop two weeks ago to get in on the buy-back deal for our old phones. Estimated deliver time is six weeks.

Looks nice. I like the simplicity. What is the length like? Some pics show it to be short on some but others look like it is a "normal" length.

My only Barbour is a To-Ki-To Shackleton which is a great jacket with a waterproof breathable membrane and nicely made. Picked it up on steep discount because retail is stoopid expensive

I'd say it's average length. Definitely not short. Pretty much the same as my Carhartt.

That's the aim. I've been on a minimalist bent lately. Nice clean look.

It is surprisingly stout, you could do work in this thing for real.
 
I will give Barbour credit for a quality product. Even the collaborations are well made
