What Are You Wearing Today?

Got a cashmere lovers delight on for tonight.

- navy Loro Piana `baby cashmere' turtleneck
- 1970's Paul Stuart bone cashmere cardigan (unbuttoned).
- dark brown cords
- reddish brown bespoke shoes

the baby cashmere works great with a turtleneck
the Paul Stuart is really thick and soft and really special. My best cardigan.

Good evening spread(-collar)-eagles and other avian creatures!

I got these new shirts from Italy, and they don’t have them buttons for me to leave unbuttoned. . . ;(

I don't understand this trouser cuff obsession. It can be agreeable sometimes but why should it be an obligation? What's the added value? Motivate your views.

added weight, better drape
although I care less for cuffs every day, most of my pants don't have them

A bit of free advice to young players:: Try to avoid getting up in the morning and slinging on a cotton suit that you haven't worn for a while. Pro Tip: Have a quick look at it the night before for wrinkles and creases. Otherwise. Although you may convince yourself on walking out the the door that the creases are simply Sprezzatura, you will spend most of your day hoping to bump into a bunch of menswear instagram idiots who will recognise Sprezzatura - even if they can't spell it or understand what it means.
And.
I can assure you. The majority of the population - even in a relatively sophisticated city - will simply think you have a crumpled suit.

Top janitor outfit. Bravi!

PS: best solution: NO cotton suit.

I like them with double pleats, but hardly an obligation, I just think the trousers look better that way.

My missus thinks they're dreadfully old fashioned and affected.

I was questioning this cuff assignment which I perceive like an very Igent manner. I have some pants with pleats and cuffs and like it - suits pants - and some without for casual occasions. I love both but I won't make a religion about it. Ok for the added weight and drape explanation. It's true a cuff adds more structure to the crease.
