What TV Shows Are You Watching?

Just finished this on Netflix. Not bad at all. 6 episodes.

I'm not as big on B Empire was I was. Its a bit contrived now. If they come back with another big gangster that needs to be defeated next season, I'm out.

Same for Walking Dead. Show is wallowing.

Low Winter Sun is good. Anyone else make it this far?

Anyone know is Bored to Death will ever have another season? That show was great.

Sad that Futurama ended. The original version was my favorite show ever. The new version, while often lacking its original glory, was still better than most things on TV. The ending was sweet, and a good way to send it off.

Luther season 3 is pretty damn good. A plot twist was a pretty big fail, but otherwise.

That serial killer would have made a pretty good Walter White.

Almost done with this on Netflix. Good stuff!

Yep. Too bad its only 5 episodes.

The US version of The Bridge continues to get shittier and shittier.

I have been on a Netflix/foreign crime mini-series kick lately! I recently finished this:

Ooooh. How was that? Looking for some new series to get in to.

I'm starting on the Israeli version of Homeland (what Homeland was based off of) next.

It is actually about 6 or 7 episodes. Not bad. Sometimes you just want to grab the female lead and shake da shit out of her. But it was a good watch.

Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee is funny. Seinfeld, I want to dislike the guy so much, but he's funny and then I laugh at his shit. Its a good show. Fuck Seinfeld, though. He reminds me of athletes you hate in their prime and then love as older guys that are now getting beat before retirement.

Checked out Sleepy Hollow. Ridiculous, of course, but its fairly entertaining. I might give it a few more eps.

Finished up on FX's The Bridge. Jesus, what a horrible adaptation. If you get the chance, watch the Danish version. SO much better. I'll say this much for the US version; it kept getting worse and worse. That's not something you see very often.

Sleepy Hollow kept up the ridiculous fun last night. This show might be my new sci-fi ridiculous binge.

The Blacklist looked very interesting. Its pretty clear she's his daughter but the revelation about the husband was a nice twist.

Mom was AWFUL. Why do they still insist on using laugh tracks in television shows???

Anyone see last night's SOA? What the fuck is Wendy up to?

I love the way he shot the hooker. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry (puts pillow over face) I'm sorry (shoots in head) I'm sorry."

Watched Marvel Agents of Shield. Very cheesy. I certainly hope it gets more interesting after all the setup.

Watched Hello Ladies. Is Stephen Merchant REALLY this awful? I'm not that familiar with his stuff.

Yeah. That shit with the Irish was definitely unexpected.

I still don't know what they're setting up with Wendy

It really was awful. Go download the Danish version. Is great.

Checking this out. Any idea if there are different sets of subtitles out there and what I should look for? (the danish version of The Killing had both awesome subs from the BBC version and *terrible* subs that were badly translated from the danish dvd subs)

The version I had were not fantastic, but they got the job done. Not as good as the BBC version of The Killing subtitles. I got mine off TPB and they were hard coded.

I finished watching Mr. Selfridge on Netflix. I didn't know about it before until I read Jeremy Piven was popular across the pond. It was okay but not terribly interesting. It helped me pass some time.

Chasing episodes of Downton Abbey every week. It's amazing the show started some time in 1912 after the sinking of the Titanic. It's now 1922. Yet most of the actors and actresses look exactly the same. That dog is still alive for example. I'm trying to sort out how old the Dowager really is based on the age of Lord Grantham and her allusions to the Victorian era.
