It also was odd that they had black guys in early seasons, and a south african at some point. I just struggle seeing the Russians doing this. Especially since the premise of the show is Russian agents are integrated into US society... why not get a Russian kid?

I found the idea of some sort of former Black Panther or expelled SACP member helping them out more believable, but I just don't think many Soviet satellites had the resources to run their own spies in the US. Maybe opportunistic intel gathering for trade and embassy delegates, but not full-on illegals.
 
I watched the last episode of Better Call Saul last night. It's getting better, but I am pretty sure no court room or panel accepting someone planting some battery or other article on someone. That evidence would be considered entrapment.

The Ken Burns Prohibition documentary is good too.

The Americans, EP 10, that wasn't the finally was it? I had to skip thru all the Paige stuff, cut the episode basically in half.
 
Big Bang Theory has been on for ten plus seasons?! Kaley Cuoco looks fat now. What did it do to her face?

Poor acting? The acting is fantastic on this show. Wednesday and Mad Sweeney steal every scene they're in.
 
I don't really know if I care about Better Call Saul anymore. Last night was a new low in the endless setup. We saw the name Saul Goodman appear for the first time, and I just shrugged.

the whole show just seems to be setting up what made breaking bad great, not being great itself.

That's exactly it. It's like one of those "making-of" documentaries where they show the scenes being filmed.
