Early spring cleaning. Sorted some vinyl. More tomorrow. In suitcase found my stash of new with tags still in plastic bags LE khaki high rise slim chinos x 4 I got for $10 ea before they stopped making them,plus a sky blue LE ocbd new with tags in bag before they shortened the collar. And the bonus was 3 x pairs of my favourite underpants NWT
 
My diary is completely empty today save for a conference call, a one on one and two 15 minute checkpoints.

I hope it stays that way.

Lunch date, then coffee date, then happy hour date, somewhere in between sneak off to the pub to watch Arsenal vs Liverpool. Interim boss just called off today's meeting.
 
I have no entries in my diary until 1030. I think I'm going to the gym now. My boss who is in his last day managing me remotely from across the pond won't mind will he?

After the workers' goodwill committee meeting, I have a 15 minute teleconference and a 2 hour lunch indulging in Napoli style pizza.

I've had an ongoing issue with the HealthCare Marketplace since January wherein they were holding on to $360 of my money. Today, after roughly 30 hours on the phone in the past 8 months, I finally got it resolved and my money back.

Another round of golf today. Started off well then the heat just eviscerated what was left of my driver and woods. Irons doing pretty well until I hit heat exhaustion on 17.
 
Sitting in the lobby of Royal York in a seersucker jacket and tie with a coffee listening to a piano version of Sound of Music's All My Favourite Things. Babysitting today. Carnival, then afternoon tea at King Edward, and then Cirque du Soleil.
 
I got a new pair of spectacles today. Even more 1960s than my last pair.

My mother is always wondering why I am mining my father's youth for aesthetics.
 
Played two hours of beach vball yesterday and another three hours this morning. Can barely walk now but feel great, only had pain in my shoulder on one swing each day in long rallies when I just needed to terminate the ball, which I did.
 
Two old fashioned and half a Caesar for lunch.

Three Johnnie Black for happy hour.

Two Jameson for dinner.

One old fashioned, one Bruichladdich and one McCallan post dinner.

One bottle of sake and a bourbon smash.

Two courvousier XO.

I have never tasted either Jim Beam or Mountain Dew.

I do enjoy vodka with fresh sqeezed lime juice as a hot weather cocktail.
 
I am just cruising along, feeling very relaxed and that makes me very happy.
 
I didn't know where to post this - I just found it. It made me chuckle - I'm still chuckling.
I was searching online for a manual for a motor mower I've been given.
And I came across this:

Of a bloke starting a mower.
That's it.
No voice.
No instructions.
No text.
No nothing.
Its just funny. Why would you do that?
 
I did 400 plus calories on the elliptical. Astonish myself sometimes my heart and lungs still work!
